Unimas? what about the reception? is it clear? plan to use 68 package but still ned ti consider about the reception in here..

Reception was really good, but you have to battle with hundreds of users especially UNIMAS students under single tower located inside the unimas. Sometimes got HSDPA, sometimes not, plus it's really hard to connect. You need to keep on trying connecting so many times till you able to log on.

Yup, pretty bad since only got one tower special for broadband. Plus, Celcom technician proposed a new tower somewhere in Taman Desa ilmu (which I currently live in) within this year or next year, that's what they told me.

Quite a lot, because streamyx and phone line not yet installed. I'm currently using Huawei E220 USB modem which I bought at PC Fair some time ago @RM 350 (nego kaw-kaw. Normal price RM 399) rclxms.gif

You can find the cheap one at Garage Sales.

i subscribed celcom september last year, package 384kbps, on november-december, usually i can get 1400+ kbps when using hsdpa modem. haha!

but after that, always get freq dc. so, terminated. haha again ~

Hi..I'm newbie here....i'm a D68 subscriber..basically, my download speed is around 45-50 kB/s or 350-380 kb/s...but, a month ago, my huawei e618 pcmcia modem has broke down sad.gif ...and after that i'm not able to use my celcom broadband for a few weeks until I bought a new modem...then I bought huawei e220...using this new modem, I felt that my surfing experience is difference than before..much faster loading pages smile.gif ...when I test the speed at speedtest.com.sg ..it shown as below... and I'm also test my speed using TMNet speedometer... location at Jalan Pantai Baharu... I'm quite confused and happy..

Don't know...it happen suddenly after I bought and use my new huawei e220 usb modem... blink.gif before this..my e618 pcmcia broke down after I update the modem firmware..

my average top speed is 100kBps. Normally around 40-60kBps...

i need all your opinion here..

i'm planning to use celcom broadband here in bukit antarabangsa,im using nokia 6120c.
for testing purpose, i subscribe for daily unlimited.

so the question is..which plan should i subcribe?

i love surfing,video streaming n downloading ... which package that can satisfy my need?

d68 or d98 ? hmm.gif

yah i also thinking which one is good enough.. still dont know which one is the best. although d98 offers bigger speed, but my friends sometimes reports that download speed sometimes same with d68. is it true?
