Of course you can only connect to GPRS, because your cellphone does not support 3G.

If u are using Nokia, then connect to your hp to the notebook. Open the Nokia PC Suite, then click 'Connect to the Internet'. Then click 'Settings', then 'Next'. Press 'Configure the connection manually', then click 'Next'. On the access point, type in 'celcom3g' (w/o quotation) . Press 'finish'. After that press 'Connect'.

If you using other phone, i'm not sure.

I hardly connect to Celcom, especially during evening. That time, I'm using Auto for 'Choose Network' in Huawei dialer. Once I set to Manual, I'm able to connect without trying to connect many times.

For those who using Huawei modem, make sure you set Manual in Settings > 'Choose Network', then select Celcom. icon_rolleyes.gif

I have both Celcom modem& Bandluxe C120 but i recommend u Bandluxe C120 because is a branded modem ny HTC group & u don't have to sign 12month contract with Celcom. after use celcom 2 month u can use maxis or U moblie . is a universal modem & is the smallest in the world . easy to keep in pocket not like celcom huawei modem have to take along to usb cable this C120 just plug in directly to laptop .

if u interested pm me.
