if package contract-less,

the D98 (pay rm199 for modem + monthly rm98) = RM297

2nd "D98 (rm300 included advance for 3month) free hua wei 3g usb modem" = RM300
RM98x3 = RM294 ??? <=if this correct price (this should be cheapest package)

lastly, "D68 (pay rm299 for modem + monthly rm 68)" = RM367

D98 will reach 5GB much faster compare to D68.

when 5GB quota reach, D98 = 128Kbps & D68 64Kbps until cycle of the month, read few post back.

just make sure the modem come with 1 year warranty.

Hello bro don't forget Celcom is not stupid , u sign up for the promotion package , celcom will tied u up to 12 to 24 month . so if u find out Celcom no good & u want to switch to U mobile , can but u have to pay celcom every month altough u have switch to use u mobile, then u r like a fool.
if u buy modem yourself then u r free to use any service , see which one good.
i m not asking u to buy modem fr me, u can get fr anyone but if u find that my price is more reasonable i m happy to sell & service u.

hi i subscribed celcom wireless broadband D98 thru a handphone agent, last 2 days i tried at my place and found the signal show "very good", but the web browsing speed is slow like snail. I m staying at Wangsa permai, Kepong, 12th floor.

I have some questions and hope who experience before can share:
Is my setting got problem? how come the signal show "very good" but web browsing speed is very slow.

If i terminate my subscribed plan (D98) now, can i refund my fees and what is the procedure?

I had such problem for once when I started using Celcom Broadband, just take out the SIM card, rub the chip area with eraser and re-insert it back. It solved my problem with such way. wink.gif

can you let us know what modem/hp model you're using?
anyway, good signal doesn't translate into good browsing speed (especially during peak hours).
PS: lately it seems the Celcom BB is slower than usual... But speed is good enough for general browsing.

I think something not right. Your speed is extremely slow. You may want to do some testing to identify the root cause of the problem (modem setting, hardware, location, etc). E.g. if you have 3G hp, try using it to see whether the problem is modem or not. Other simple tests are use you bb from your friend's notebook or their house. Once you narrow down the root cause, it will be easy to troubleshoot.
Your location is in Sarawak due to shared ip.
Sorry, I don't have knowledge in Sierra wireless aircard...
One more thing! Call Celcom customer service to check whether your D98 plan is activated or not.

It depends on the package you take. If you take D68, then your connection stick to UMTS (3G) or GPRS. If you take D98, then your connection will go to HSDPA, UMTS and GPRS, depends on the coverage. No fix.
