I had French a couple of weeks ago in Soho, the food was brilliant and the price tag was OK as well, about £22 for drinks, starter + main course. Let's go! Lets go 1st week of June. QUOTE(Geminist @ May 4 2009, 03:25 AM) 4th June is my birthday! Haha, I'll let you know in a couple of days time, but I think no problem if it's a Saturday morning. Lets go makan celebrate! May 30 (Saturday) pre celebration. Hows that? Yeap, I think it's called Southwark Park, I think. But I would suggest Canada Water especially if you're working in Southwark as there's where I work too. It's quite near and only takes about 20 minutes cycle (by tube could be between 30-40 minutes from house door to office door). There's the Canada Water dock areas near to where the station is, this place is absolutely brilliant, it cost a bit more, about £700 per month but it's really nice as you stay near to the dock. Or else move a bit further from the station and the rent should come down. Becareful not to wander too far into Lewisham area though. Guess what? There's a huge Tesco beside the station with a small shopping centre which you can get most of your stuff. I'll make another cheesecake! haha Or you want chocolate cupcake? I've torn a hummingbirds choc cupcake recipe from Metro newspaper awhile ago. Maybe I should try. No guarantee as good haha but no risk no gain yeah? =P liewjls: u can stay at upton park, there's a tesco metro just outside the station and lotsa cheap anene shops. lol. upton park zone 3 is a cheap place. Wow Edmund, so cruel. blame me for food poisoning. I'm sure it was some other desert that you greedily bought from Tescos! =P
I think there would only be a few of us. My housemate, me, you, ur gf? Simon?, Beve and probably her friend. 7? haha. I'll ask. Whereabouts the korean restaurant again? name and address? Not expensive rite? I gotta tell everyone to budget. haha. Choc cupcakes it is. Gotta go dig my recipe out =P Hey I'm a professional chef! Lol! |

Insults! I not only can make cheesecake and cupcakes mind you. Sigh. Do not make your own assumptions just because I've suggested these two.
Heartbroken. Don't wanna make edy hmph. Noone else had food poisoning except u and there were more than 10 ppl there. Beverly is the girl who brought her guai lou friend for the bday party. She was fashionably late and her food went cold. She was also one of the ones who blew the cake with win ni and i. Ok. Check it out and see. My friend went to a Korean bbq place before. She said it was nice and about 10 pounds sharing per head. She can find out from her friend where it is coz she forgot. p/s: Will there be anything decent like just normal fried rice? Lol. I'm not a Korean fan or more like I hate korean food. Everyone else loves Korean so it's okay for Korean. Added on May 5, 2009, 1:59 pm QUOTE(mr lappy @ May 5 2009, 05:33 AM) i think what you find is janice will slip a little something in your cupcake to make sure you get another food poisoning after the comment you've made Sounds like a GREAT! Haha. Grace. Funny.
The restaurant is called Assa Korean Restaurant 53 St Giles High Street Charing Cross, London, WC2H 8LH 020 7240 8256 Nearest station is Tottenham Court Road. It's actually hotpot / steamboat, not bbq. Sorry was mistaken. Hmm I'm a fussy person x_X. You'll probably end up eating the same things like Satay House or Malaysian Hall if u were gonna ask me to suggest =p |

QUOTE(Geminist @ May 11 2009, 05:00 AM) I don't think they take booking because it's a small place so loosing one table means loosing customers. But it's in the afternoon so shouldn't be too crowded. I think 6-8 should still fit in. Let's just see how many person would be going. Jolin was at the Thai RestaurantAbout the renang renang, let's fix it at 13 June because that's the earliest week when they have Jubilee Line to West Ham Added on May 11, 2009, 5:02 amBy the way Janice, the lady with a foreign boyfriend is not beverly, it's Jolin, no? Jolin came alone to the Satay House. I think she sat beside you. Beverly was the one who came with the foreign bf to Satay House. She was very late. The latest person that arrived. Remember I ordered her food and it was sitting on the table? She blew the cake with Seak Chiew Win Ni and I. Ok 13 June. How early can you swim? You can take a look at the swimming schedule here. http://www.gll.org/pool_programme_search.asp?cid=20&cbid=25# Oopz..they've changed the schedule a bit. I normally go for the Swimfit sessions. Morning sessions got less people too compared to evening I think...Swimfit are the ones with adults swimming back and forth instead of kids jumping around and splashing water. Does Canary Wharf fall under Tower HAmlets? We can go to other places too This is Mile End Park Leisure http://www.gll.org/pool_programme_search.asp?cid=27&cbid=30 Map http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=E3+4HL&oe=...=image&resnum=1 Not sure same price or not though. It's about £3.75 So far only 5 of us I think or less. Your gf coming? This post has been edited by xcutelilgal: May 13 2009, 01:25 AM |

QUOTE(mr lappy @ May 16 2009, 07:50 PM) lol. actually on the contrary i need more ppl intro me more girls! The advantage of being a photographer with a big slr is that you can approach non course mates and ask them if they'd like to be your model. And there you've got yourself a new girl-friend. Lol!for something quite percular, all teh friends in my uni tend to be like course mates.... im flying on the 23rd june and returning on the 24th sep. but i might fly back to london earlier depending on how things are..... my last paper is on the 10th june. so anything between the dates im up for it.... gotta squeeze all the trips and holidays here b4 i go back.... i plan to go to daicon but i dont know my way round anything outside mlk... so can use u as a point of contact ar? u going on both days? Ah Emirates more expensive already. I think Etihad is the cheapest then. Gosh you returning on 24 Sep. I'm flying on 25th. I'm going to Sydney^^. QUOTE(Geminist @ May 17 2009, 12:05 AM) For one reason and another, I actually prefer older woman most of the time on the weekend yes. You should know what happens when kids are allowed into the pool =)I wouldn't worry too much about driving in Cyberjaya, I am geographically challanged and I managed to make my way there on my own a few years back. Added on May 17, 2009, 12:35 am So the morning swim4life = lots of people splashing about? older woman? haha. Ok shall I introduce my aunties and grandmas? Oh wait my ex classmates are older haha but they're back in msia. Sorry can't help you if you remain in London ! =P |
