Let's keep it at 6.30pm for now and count me in, I've been dying to eat ice kacang for a very long time now, and I wanted to try the fried rice you had last time as well!

sounds like a good place to dine in...

Added on August 24, 2009, 6:27 amI usually go Young Cheng or Canton, though i often cook myself..
*
Its at the head of Gerard street near Gerard's Corner. The row before you turn into C&R if you know where C&R is. Its good and cheap compared to the others which are not so good and more expensive in my opinion.

Four Seasons is not bad too but somehow I still prefer Wong Kei haha.

Ice kacang + Nasi Goreng Kampung (this is the one you had ya?) Thanks!

Has anyone ever tried the Harbour City restaurant?  They serve some pretty good value and nice tasting dim sum.  The price is very reasonable as well and the portion is good!
*
Is that the one beside the HSBC? I heard there's a cheap dim sum I don't know if that's the name of the restaurant.

Waitress Janice taken order tongue.gif Yes that's the one.

Auntie Janice

You mentioned some time ago about a trip to Ireland?  Is that still going on?
*
Uncle Edmund, Ireland or Greece?
Lufthansa got promo
2 person flight to Athens
Total Price for all passengers 201.94= GBP 201.94
Then we can take ferries to Santorini or other islands biggrin.gif
Cheap?

or Ireland (Dublin) from LCY Then we can take flights to Londonderry (Giant Causeway) and Galway (Cliffs of Moher)
2 adult(s) x (30.00 + 91.66) = 243.32 GBP

Aer Lingus from Gatwick to Dublin even cheaper

2 adults GBP 99.96
lols!

November 2nd to November 10th..how's that?

Which would you prefer?
I'm interested in both. You confirm can go?
I'll start checking the airlines and hostels etc.

Greece!!

Yes, the dates are fine, I'll pin it down in my diary and sort my holidays out.  Thanks for sorting this out!!  Let me know if there's anything you need my help with.  I'm going to Amsterdam tomorrow, whee!

By the way, I've recently went into a very nice Taiwanese restaurant, we could go there sometime!
*
Amsterdam! Why wasn't I invited? =p How many days you going for?

So I should start doing my Greece homework then lols. How many places do you want to go? Is Athens and Santorini enough? Any request or I'm free to be the full time tourguide? =D Hostels is fine? No fussyness?

Taiwanese restaurant? Where?lols Sure thingy.

liewjls, of course. are you free at that time? =D 2nd November to 10th.
If confirmed then there will be 3 of us. I'm not sure about chizzu.

3 private ensuite for 4 nights in Athens is 92 Euro each.
Athenstyle in Athens, Greece
Agias Theklas 10, Monastiraki, Athens, Athens

[To go to Pireaus, you can take the X96 bus which departs every 20-40min from the airport. Allow about 60-90 minutes for the trip to the port. The bus ticket currently costs €2.90.

The first one is a normal ferry (cheapest but also slowest option). In this case the trip takes about 9-10 hours and the ticket costs about €24. ]

I think we should fly to Santorini. What do you think?

Pending post =p

Well, no problem with accommodation as long as they are clean and in a relatively safe area (I like to have night walk you see!).  OK, when you say it's €92, does it mean per night or?  I just need to work out the expenses for the trip.

I'll have to look up on Athens and Santorini, but from speaking to friends, they suggested landing in Athens and move around from there.
*
92 Euro each person for 4 nights in Athens only. Santorini there's a hostel I checked which is about 62 USD per person if it's a 3 person ensuite. (that's if liewjls is coming) if chizzu is coming then it could be a different price but lets have this estimation for now and if dates can be confirmed and the heads, I'll do better homework for the location and price =).

We are landing in Athens and then fly or take a ferry to Santorini which is said to be the most famous of islands. http://www.santorini.net/112.html
Flying to Santorini would cost 172 Euro per person via Aegean Airlines (return). Olympia Airlines approx the same price. Can't seem to view it in the office. Will check when I'm home.

I've checked that people say its best for 4 - 5 nights in each place and yes the hostel is safe for night walking compared to others that I've read reviews on. Shud I say I'll fight em off and protect you instead? =p

heheh... is it possible do it late of the week ar? probably travel on wednesday something like that? hehe..
*
ah..the flight promotion ends this sunday! Lufthansa...lols
Hopefully within 500 pounds! Wednesday until the end of the next sunday? I chose the dates based on the cheaper flights that's why.

If next few weeks then have to wait till I get back from Aussie. Flights might not be as cheap.

We've booked from 2nd to 10th. You can join anytime in between smile.gif

The tickets was 100 pounds more expensive than previously checked. Which is a waste! But well still considered reasonable.
