Stone chips...live with it, is part of the daily driven car
Swirls .... live with it, is part of your weekly car wash thing

yea....hard to avoid. how to hide it? buy some paint & DIY with brush? or just leave it? leave it long, it will get attack by rust.

swirls can be fixed after a good detailing session lor ...

stone chips are best to be touched up wif paint lo ... if dowan DIY ma go to sum detailer n they'll do it up nicely for u ... but alwiz remember ur paint code as well ... bear in mind no matter how the paint will differ a lil esp on aged cars as paint will oxidize as time past so a slight discolouration is expected but not alwiz noticeable by the eye la tongue.gif

cleaner wax is sumthing like ColorX but more wax component in it i think ...

But NXT TW and Gold class Wax are both pure wax wif no cleaner elements ... These both differ in terms of chemical content in it ... both have their reputation ...

I heard Gold class bring more gloss ... but so far megs#21 still d one for me thumbup.gif

Megs #21 is good but it comes in a huge packaging (64 oz which is almost 2 litres). Takes forever to finish and costs about RM 200. Professional line of products so can't get them off the shelf like NXT Gen Tech Wax. Gotta go to Autodetailer or Meguiars suppliers to get it.

Weekly is probably a bit too much. Try NXT Wax once every 2 months and for the weekly ones you can just do a normal wash and then use NXT Spray Wax.

btw, to do a proper detailing session from ground up.. is it necessary to use dish washing liquid? i mean.. to remove all layer of protection to get to the layer where the scratches/swirls are visible.. after using the dish-wash.. do you clay or use scratch-x? =.="

Why use dish wash liquid? Just use normal liquid lor. After washing, get those water-based tar remover to remove all protection. Start from there lor smile.gif Jackie, dun want to polish ke? unsure.gif

I only use dish washing liquid to soak my Microfibre cloth (in lukewarm water). Only time dishwashing liquid gets anywhere near my car is when I bring it back home from the department store. biggrin.gif
