I have a NXT TechWax for RM80 ... very very good wax n great results ... prep ur paint ... wax it ...

Basically, claying is to prep and clean ur car surface only, it DOESNT protect your paint. Eg: Feel ur car surface (wif ur fingers) after a wash, if u feel its not smooth den u need to clay .. after a clay session ur paints feels as smooth as a babies arse no joke

If you wan ur polish as well as wax to work well, claying and proper surface pred shud not be forsaken ...

Wat you have there is juz a polish ... in fact u shud get Meg's ColorX which works even better .. IMHO

After u wash and clay ur car, you will polish and then u will wax it. There are so many brands and types of wax available juz oni how u wan ur ca to b like lo ...
But its very true tat cheap thing no good n good thing no cheap ... I would say long term its a good investment la ... so its up to the consumers to think of the feasibilities then

my 5 cents

2-3 layers every 2-3 months .... depending on type of wax used and the nature of the product ... depends oso ur environment eg where u park ur car, ur driving environment etc

eg: NXT Tech Wax ... 2-3 months tahan ... with weekly washes n a quick detailing spray after each wash to boost wax ...

everytime u polish u paint goes a wee thinner ... so to protect it wax is needed ... so choose a good 1 ... durable yet gloossy and sexyyy ...

as i said b4 ... no need if u cant ... but best if u can ... 2-3 hours fine oredi ... no biggie ... more layer means its have a better shine and a wee longer protection until the next detail

anyway ... prepare ur paint surface well b4 u wax on NXT as its a LSP ... so if surface not well prepared ... u put wat wax oso not impressive la

Its 2days paint which has tat shine ... the components inside it ... but its also very hard to jaga compared to cars last time ... d paint i mean ... well ... u pay for a good looking car lo ... car paint nowdays r more vulnerable as should get attention n love frm their owners

ColorX is basically a paint cleaner with some wax component in it ... but its NOT wax ok? .... I would say use the same method to an old junk but juz a bit more passion n work n effort it shud do it

U hafta try it to know it ... but remember ... all the steps r important ... frm claying to polishing to cleaning to waxing n waxing ...

Dun pay .... we all can be come detailers ... juz need the time ....

IMHO ... i dun like soft99 ... get a more recognized polish n wax ... even car wash shampoo ...

Remember ... u dowan swirls ... get micro fibre cloths ...

ahahaha ... color codes ... write it down ...

anyway mine kena stone frm lorry on the bonet ... kena a car in front den kena mine ... 3 lubangs liao ... touch up oso quite obvious ... ...

Moral of the story: Dowan stone chips or dents = dun drive else theres nothing much u can do as lonewolf said ... it'll keep baliking ... juz tampal balik lorr .... haih

yes .... sanding will solve it

Products: Normal car wash, soft 99 claybar, ColorX, StratchX, Meg's #21

Take care n maintained by normal weekly washes wif a Spray Detailer/ Quick detailer

Stonechips are part of life when u have a car la .... wat2 do ... at leaast u front buumper ... me bonet lerrrr

Mahal lerr ... but i u willing to pay den up2 lo .... i still feel ... after a while respray la better ... choose d color u wan

Meg's comes wif the quick detailer ... but u can use normal car wash soap mix wif water lo ... more economic but Megs give u slightly better results la

Clay juz divide and use it in small pieces lo ... but understood u overdid wif the detailer

erm ... can reuse la ... but advicible not on paint work coz if there's any contaminants or worst still sand particals .... u will get more "flowers" on your car

Keep those for rims, mirror and other parts of the car

erm ... i still believe good stuff no cheap cheap stuff long term ur car paint gone case

Repaint den ... if i got the $$ i will repaint every year
