Hi, what is watermark actually?? Is it the cloud shape stain that only can be seen during rain?

I have this problem especially at rainy night, the windscreen is clean n clear but it will have the foggy cloud shape stain when the wiper wipe through.

guys i need some help here......ive been trying to maintain my car paint for awhile now....ive been waxing, polishing, claying and recently got a mequire swirl x to get rid of the swirls. but the thing is that i still dont understand why haze is present esp when there is direct sunlight. is there something wrong with my cleaning process?

or could it be the swirls that is making the haze effect, cuz the mequire didnt really get rid totally but majority of it.

If you are getting haze, could be because of a few factors (correct me if im wrong):
1. dirty/old/worn applicator pads
2. very soft paint?
3. Incorrect method of preparation (which pushes the contamination further into the paint)

i think it could factor number 1 and 3. ok any advise for my current situation to get rid of the haze? im thinking of getting the car send out for plp to do an actual detailing like those car washing center that also polish and waxes service. would this be recommended? thanks for the feedback

you can try using swirlX on 1 section of the car (again), see how it goes. If the swirls go off, then you can continue using swirlX. saves you some money by not getting another product. Im sure SwirlX is safe enough for multiple uses.

a question to ask,how often do we need to clay? most of the time i heard is 6months once..twice a year with proper maintenance steps?
if i wash->clay->surf prep->polish->wax after that wash regularly using Meg product..can stand up to 6months?thanks.

Basically there is 5 steps to car detailing & must be maintain
imagine u shift into the new house - everything baru - new paint - new toilets , new rooms & bla bla

what happend u never wash, mop, clean & what happen when you have a visitor

oppssss...so although u have a new house, a weekly sweep & mop, bi weekly toilet clean & mop whenever after cooking - esp frying

A bit every time will make thing last a longer while....it is a regiments of maintenance

1. Wash - Normal wash or ONR rinseless wash - weekly

2. Clay - only requires 2 times a year - lube with expensive QD or just 2 caps onr as lube \
- this is to remove surface contaminations

3. Cleaning the paint - I used to polish - now i just power clean (to clean the paint ) it could be from once to thrice a yr - dont get yr car polish & wacked for no reason in the hands of untrain person

4.Paint Protection --

5. repeat the 1st step - weekly wash

i have written quite a number of detailing article one of the 2 best :-
detailing without machine - the above 5 steps
here

to have a complete ideal of car detailing - kindly check out herehere

detailing possible a dream to achieve

what is the dilution for OPC for paint cleaning purpose? 1:8? is it just wipe off the surface will do? follow by swirlx/scratchx (if necessary) and lastly wax it?
i heard OPC strip down everything on paint surface including wax.

HI Michaelyii
Yupp - safely good - u may want to 1:5 or even 1:3
cleaning th e paint means strippping the wax off
the best of what i have try so far - as all u need is just one OPC
