but i use twitter but not so much on marketing my site but making friends instead.

for me, so far what i find is that content that makes your site shine. marketing efforts for a contentless site is still useless. people come, then never come back.

Depends, for laptop disassembly articles I spend about 3 hours.

For short posts I would spend about an hour or two ... longer posts might spend the whole afternoon writing.

Then give it to my editor to edit would take about less than an hour.

hmm...I like using twitter idea.
