i think an engine transplant will negate the very reason why we buy a cps car in the first place...

however, i would not pass the opportunity to supercharge my cps....

engine transplant are not simple, alot of things need to redo and the worst thing is......everyday u have a surprise on the weird behaviour hahaha...

How's the performance of CPS? Is it more torquey than CamTakPro?

I tried CamTakPro Gen2, not torquey at all. Like no power 1....

That's why I hope the new Proton MPV will use 1.6 CPS + Supercharge.

For me, its quite powerful. But I've only driven Saga LMST and MYVI ler..

I've driven my bro campro gen2 (AT) for quite a number of times (borrowed his car every time go for outstation). I've also driven myvi (AT) (my other bro). Now owning a cps (AT) myself, I'd say

1. Campro without cps is like "makan nasi without lauk". With campro you get to eat the plain nasi but with cps its tastier
2. When I drive the campro, I always wonder whether the fuel tank or the engine itself is leaking.... (draining fuel as if the fuel is very cheap)
3. AT shift is better with myvi compared to campro (heheheh but with cps its a hell lot of different)
4. Ask many cps owner in this forum, you'll find that campro cps is highly addictive... power, torque... you can't simply resist the temptation to press the pedal to the metal.... (funny though, since puasa I haven't even reach 140 km/h... patient my young padawan...wait till after raya.. ahahahah)
5. Cps is now the top of the line engine from Proton... so sometimes "ada sikit eksyen laaa"..... at least no more laughing stock from vtec and vvti dudes

Agree with you VerM......but for now my Waja CPS still kinda "tight". Gotta wait a few thousands km before feeling the "smooth" completely. Need to get use with the gated shift first....odo still 300 plus.

ok, i`ve check oledi...1 half inch is RM80..so if ur crack is in square 1 half inch..myb they charge u around RM100 with the upah...me, my crack is almost 8 inch...soo they suggest me to change my windscreen... ...olide call SC they said the ori windscreen is RM600++..xcluded installation n seal... ...the outside one is RM 350 include installation....regret not insured my windscreen...i ask the different to SC, they said the different is logo onli...proton got logo...actually they said the glass is same manufacturer n quality with double layer...just proton put logo ...i ask bout UV..they said same..coz its 2 layer...myb today will change the w/screen...luckily got tinted voucher worth RM450...soo can get free tint too....

I don't think that outside shop sold those UV glass. Even PESC need 1 month to get stock (in my case).

It will certainly increase traffic congestion.

they told me...normal time 1 week to order the glass but nowdays almost festive..cannot gerenti the time...even they suggest me to change the outside 1, so i cannot jeopardise my car...coz yerterday after work the crack getting longer(coz park outside direct sun)if i decided to order donno when the stock will arrive...need to decide coz raya will coming soon..actually i want the proton but they cannot confirm the stock ......bout UV...actually they said...front glass is double tampered layer...the UV that we have now is for other 4side windows...coz previous...they onli give double layer for front...so for value added to the new waja...they give all front + 4 side window UV....this what the SC tel me...

i want balik kampong....got another car...passo(myv_i) but dont want...i want drive cps...

Not my windscreen, my driver side window. But they gave me replacement until the stock arrive.

If I'm not mistaken, the front windscreen is also UV glass. Need to re-check.

ohh...ok...bro the front one is UV....all car is UV..(all new car now got UV, in our segmentlah...class)

ori is 600++ may be 700 in total, outside is 350. Wah a lot of different...so can we conclude that proton logo is very valuable. Must take care baik baik n polish it ......
i going to insure it if not yet. Your windscreen is tinted b4 so for the new glass is free to retint, right?
