it was "double entendre" meaning

bruce/batman piority was to seek & stop the joker. He didnt (at that time) cared if lucius stayed or not
(when he questioned bruce ethics on having such a devise/machine at Wayne Enterprice)

in the comics batman/bruce built most stuffs himself (things he carry on), in the 3rd movie, batman is a fugitive, hunted by police & the criminal lords; compared to 'police' friendly but not full ally in the first 2 movie. which is why the the 'rise' of batman.

umm... bruce always cared for everyone - his enemies included. that's who he is. he just dont go and hug everyone. he knew lucius was strict on principles, and he wont endorse this sort of abuse. but it was necessary to breach the privacy of all given the threat they were facing. bruce predicted this, and preemptively installed a self destruct system on it.

being an fugitive/being on the run & 'blamed' for the death of harvey (batman wanted it to be put on his head at the ending of TDK), me thinks batman this time will operate with minimal amount of 'hardware'. & if lucius stuck to his pricipal of resigning, there won't be much wayne enterprise R&D for the "government contracts".

I see selina aka catwoman to take the place of the "vigilanting gotham" in place of batman in the begining to mid of the movie. there wont be 'much' of batman in the early part until some circumstances "force" bruce wayne to return back and revive the bat cape. I trust this angle of story to be nolan's path or something similar.

The Dark Knight shall Rise to a broken back. But hey, there's bound to times where he's going to outsmart Bane. The thing is, how big will Bane be?

I'm thinking the story will see Bruce Wayne fighting with absolutely no gadgets, almost hopelessly with nothing. The film having a tone of desperation. He is completely stripped-off his "advantage" and has to devise a much more precise plan of attack. Everyone is after him, so even if he goes after the bad guys... they would just lock up the bad guys and Batman himself.

As for Catwoman, yeah I'm thinking along the lines of vigilante. I'm not so sure how much "cat" is going to be put into the costume or even in the character itself. Maybe we will see nothing of any "cat" symbolism, just a lady in a suit jumping around and just so happened to be called "Catwoman" for maybe being a cat crazed pet lover?

Bane to me is a much easier task to tackle since



How tough or buff will he be depends on how real they want him to be. I'm not expecting Hulk. Perhaps a bulked up person with a knack of breaking backs. He has had a bad start to his life, and Gotham would love a villain like this.
