There are a lot of budget hotel opposite of Dataran Pahlawan. There's one we called the budget inn if not mistaken. The price is quite reasonable. You can bincang the price with the owner. From jonker street, it is about 10-15 minutes of walking distance. There is a food court nearby selling malaccan famous cuisine.

Dun forget to pay a visit to Bunga Raya. A old chinese town but theres a lot of good food at there. Got nice ABC, cendol, fried oyster, and behind madame king got those grill 'Si ham', and taufu.

Nyonya chang can get from Pasar Malam. I use 2 get dat when I was studying in MMU. Everytime go Pasar Malam also bring back many bags. lol.

Nadeje not bad lo. We use 2 get dat for desert after dinner. Top layer very sweet 1, den its like layer cake, with cream in between.

Seriously i think malacca famous for satay celup onli lo. Although many say da chicken rice, cendol, duck rice n all nice la, but not my favourites sadly. lol. Maybe due 2 my spoilt tongue. lol

Beside Seaside? U mean beach? If yes u have to look for those in Tanjung Keling (Everly & Shah Beach resort) which is ~10km away from town

If u wanted town ctr, refer to my previous posting here:
