i can understand those feeling. hehe. i also still not get used to Tube's qwerty keyboard but it turns out that i used the numerical keypad more often which is much2 easier as if real numerical keypad

one thing i dont like bout iphones is that their touchscreen only supports skin contact. which means you cant use your fingernails for those with big thumbs and cant use stylus too

iphone using sensor..that is great for me..i love sensor instead of pressure..

I would love to have both, coz some programs are better off at tap screen while some are better at touch.

yeah. it uses static electricity from you fingers. actually my thumb is quite big & i can use it comfortably now. just need some time to get use to it.

still the best hard key QWERTY is P1i lah. no doubt.

Not onli old town,1 U wireless also cant connect...
when i scan,the phone can detect the device,once connect,it keep appear 'connection failed' lar.....

which version u r using?
1.)garmin mobile xt 4.10.20....or 4.10.80..or latest 5.00.20?
2.)u need a map oso before using.(malsingmaps)
3.)n of course u need a satellite receiver oso like garmin mobile 10x wireless bluetooth receiver. p1i doesnt have a gps navigator...those handphone A-GPS preinstalled.....no comment...u can try

im using garmin mobile xt software 5.00.20,where u can installed garmin car,plane or whatever instead of original 3d arrow. using malsingmaps only(30MB) with garmin 10x wireless bluetooth receiver.(pinjam from fren)

for the wireless receiver,u can go to www.3gps.com(local) which cost rm399......in ebay i managed to find a refurbished unit(from U.S) which is rm270.....planning to buy it on ebay after CNY. haha. if u already have it,better still.

i will pm you for the garmin mobile xt 5.00.20 and oso malsingmaps 1.30 gold(latest).(include keygen). for instruction on how to do it...its included.

n btw,any one have a good working n nice GDD files for gdesk 0.33?(a,b,c,d,e oso no problem). i still cant use htc theme on 0.33d.

hi guys,

i need help. My P1i can not notify me any coming sms. I need to switch off and on my P1i before any sms coming in. I have tested it with other simcard (same company) and the same thing happen. No sms coming in (i send sms using other phone to P1i). My P1i is 1 year old already.

I try to put my simcard into other hp and it work well.

I am getting frustrated, the same thing happen with my previous phone (P800) which i gave to my sister because i thought it's broken. But until now, it work very well and had no problem with sms coming in.

I'm kinda puzzle why this thing happen to me. Any idea to help me solve my problem?

does this happen all the time?
so far, i encounter few times where there is no sms received and after reboot the hp, all the sms will be received.
sometimes when send out sms, i also encounter the sms not being send out as I have enable request delivery report. I'll only receive the delivery report after i resend the sms which cause double sms sending..

i think this is a normal problem with P1i

One U i tried be4, cannnot connect. But every time i went old town, it could connect easily
I tried once successful at pyramid but nowaday seem cannot connect at pyramid free wifi zzz

maybe you need to 'off' your phone when charging it, after that only 'on' back, don't let it work 24/7

i think you didn't encounter such problem as you always off yr phone when charging gua..
my phone works 24x7 without any rest or reboot unless it feel laggy or having some problem as my job need to provide on-call 24x7

Added on January 9, 2009, 9:28 amneed some help here.. now i'm facing some problem with the name display in the sms...
yesterday i take out my phone simcard and insert another simcard into it for some testing..
after that i reinsert back my original simcard to the phone. but now, seem like some of the sms won't display the contact name and it juz display the phone number..
i hv double check in the contact list, the contact name/phone/etc are there... even after reboot i still face the same problem..

just now, i use myphoneexplorer to sync my notebook with the phone.. during the step "Sync phonebook (SIM)", it give me this error..
The phonebook on the SIM card could not be downloaded...

anyone can help on this? thanks.
