Haven't heard of Fagor much for washing machine? How is the performance compared to more commercial brands like Panasonic, LG and Samsung?

Would anyone be able to recommend a reliable washing machine repairman that would be able to fix Electrolux front loaders?

My out of warranty machine makes a lot of noise

I'm using Electrolux 7kg washer and 5kg dryer, its been for half year. Everything seems fine till now, quite convenient, washing and drying just take bt 4.5 hrs, upon taking out is bt 95% dry. Just when spinning is quite loud.

Thanks for your feedback. 4.5 hours to finish seems quite long. Why is it 95% dry? U still have to take Rhee laundry out n hang them for drying?

Basically I only need washer function. But think if spend a bit more with dryer function will be handy when I need it... Maybe once a month.

If I do buy, planning to extend another 4 years warranty. I like LG, with hope that it might be quiet in operation.

Here I narrow down to 5 choices;

(1) LG WD-CD1412W 14/8kg RM5699 - Over expected budget and never need the capacity. But wonder any benefit like more stable and quiet operation, which can justify the extra cost.
(2) LG WD-CD914W 9/6kg RM3499 - So far like it most for the price and requirement, which I think fit the best
(3) LG WD-PD8010M only washer 8kg RM2399 - Plain washer... I mean if LG washer/dyrer -> dryer function suck...
(4) Electrolux EWW1274 7kg /5 RM2799 - Safe choice with nothing special. Concern about spinning noise as usual...
(5) Electrolux 11kg pure washer - Safe choice, but expected noise due to normal belt system.

Do appreciate your comments and past experinces.

If remember well, I saw it Rm3800 for Harney horman and BEST.

Any reason on getting it rather than the larger unit or the 9 kg washer / 6kg dryer one?

Personally I slightly do not like the silver color... But this model also grab my attention.

front loading usually requires soap powder that is less "frothy" (i.e. less bubbles).

Not so sure why. Something about extending the life of the washing machine?? maybe because it doesn't require so much water the ratio is different.

Most Front loaders recommended to use TOP - for Front load (they specify on the packaging) and Persil. Electrolux ties in with Persil. But I find persil a bit expensive so switched to TOP.

Do washer and dryer require 15A points?

My existing washer is just using 13A. My wireman told me to get 15A sockets for the new wiring work done. Are there certain models with 15A?

If I still use 13A, is there a 'converter' that will allow me to plug into 15A socket?
