TL usually the most faster motor bracing kong..

That is why those ppls has realized FL much better than TL wow

TL for me just like toy.

All cloths throw in to be mixed up like debris

Yup, the faster bracing kong also need 7-8 years whistling.gif
While FL's door seal leak can be as fast as 3 years thumbup.gif
Now I still looking for detergent that does not have soda inside, then I'll buy the FL laugh.gif

Some guru never teach you how to in proper care, after used must be open the door until next cycle wash.

Do not close up, cause interior wet can be grown up mold.

my wife prefer TL because can soak those cloth..

she know that FL washing is much more cleaner , in teory TL because it sit on top of motor..so the motor kong easily.

for FL , it will last a bit long (in teory) but my FL when i wash it(maybe overloaded) it will move itself a bit it original ground..smile.gif
*
FL won't wash cleaner than TL, that's just a myth. If a FL states 6kg, the max load you can put is 3kg, nothing more than that. This is how I trash the Samseng's FL in Qatar. Not to mention the rubber seal does not like soda. Now i still looking for detergent that not using soda.
Also, FL's working principle are against Newton's Law, so will it last long like a TL is questionable. Some boasting it can last long(1 week wash once with minimum load) but I tested it is not reliable at all.
The vibration are freaking high when the load is higher, the max distance the WM travel was 2cm from its original location.
As for TL, if you are buying old school design, it is using belt, so motor and drum are separated. And most of the time, is not the motor failed but more on the belt. Change the belt and you are good to go.

Toshiba no FL meaning toshiba technology not up to it.
Panasonic FL don't have over 11kg capacity yet, meaning the technology still learning from kimchi.

Like Proton can design a body, but don't have the good engine meant = worst for high FC.
*
You may say Toshiba don't have the brain to make FL if this can makes you happy whistling.gif
I see it this way : they know all the flaws on FL and to keep their head ache less, they don't make any.

Yes I used the Top Low Suds liquid detergent, but it still produces a lot of suds based on the recommended dosage and when I reduce the dosage the clothes are not clean. The Amway liquid soap also changed their formula, and the new formula does not  give a fresh smell which means that it is not cleaning well.  Also, both this liquid soap leave behind a very slimy residue on the interior of the machine between the gasket and the drum (probably reaction between the Softener and the soap). After changed to MaxKleen9 no such issues and clothes are much cleaner.
*
Basically you shall be looking for detergents that does not use soda.

Comment compare with my old Top Load Toshiba DD Inverter
Pros: Cleaner, hot wash, steam function to kill gems (caution when taking out the cloth, really Hot man!)

Cons: less stable compare with my TL , the drum is dancing inside.
Even it state that 10kg, but only few function can use 10kg.

Detergent I'm using current is Top low sub for Adult, Pureen ADB (blue botol)  for Children.
*
The steam generated by WM are not hot enough to kill gems doh.gif

Sigh...my top load toshiba is broken and I dont think I want o fix it. Saw the bottom part of the motor also rust.

Now is the worst time to buy washing machine? Has the price reduced due to gst or does this only applies to their new stock after April.

At first I wanted to get electrolux but saw a lot of negative reviews so now looking at other front loaders below 2k

im definitely going to get a FL washer/dryer combo - looks like i need to increase budget to 3k minimum. Does anyone have any brand recommendations or to avoid ?
*
If you want less problem, any FL you shall not consider. Quotes from most people in Qatar(my friends) that are using Samseng 6.5KG FL. Internal rust on the door seal causing leakage and high vibration after 2-3 years of usage.

can someone correct me that whatever brand comes with top loader, with the weight indicate on each of their product does that refer as DRY weight or WET weight?

Someone arguing told me that Toshiba is only refer as dry weight while Samsung is refer as wet weight. It this true?
*
Wet weight means the actual capacity are lower.
Get Toshiba, they can do what rated for. Samseng can't do what is rated.

Does inverter vs non inverter really matter for washing machines in terms of power consumption? I have a family of 3, will likely do loads only 2 times, max 3 per week.
*
You can check the power consumption from the WM.
Inverter air cond do help, but not other appliances.

many new washer manual would recommend only low sud/bubble detergent to protect the washer, i was wondering what type of detergents safely use for front loaders?
*
Low, low low or low low low suds won't protect the washing machine, you need to get a detergent that does not use soda.
That's the only detergent are front loader friendly.
