He's got a point. So study the fine print of what is stated for each manufacturer.

Sorry, this is the trend now, Panasonic are giving 12 years where circuit board only valid for 3 years and motor that can only claim once in that 12 years. And you can only get 12 years by registering online.

That can apply to both brands so I can only use info that I have.

There are not much fine print from both side to consider other than what advertised.

Anothe point is Electrolux provide on site repair while Panasonic only provie local supplier warrant (whatever that means)
*
On site repair are also limited to certain parts only, not all repair can be done on site.

Dear Sifu..

I own Electrolux FL washer 2 yrs ago.. the high speed spinning sound is getting louder comparing previous yrs.. is it normal?? is it an indication some maintenance need to be done?? How much would it cost to change the rubber at the door??

i also looking for a big size TL washer to wash quite a volume of daily bed sheet and duvet cover.. which brand should i consider?? Toshiba or Hitachi?? or Electrolux the model with something like a stick in the middle??

Kindly advise..
*
High pitch noise is normal for FL as the mode of operation are against Newton's Law. Any law that made by human you can beat it but not natural(gravity) law which you need to pay in pain as time goes by sweat.gif
TL always go for Toshiba or Panasonic, both are quite good. Then follow by the rest of Japanese brands, if still want to be a cheapskate, then PRC brands. If you like to claim warranty, LG and Samseng will be the brands you can check on it.

Dear Halcyon27 Sifu & supersound Sifu.. and other Sifu..

Any recommendation about stand alone dryers?? Japanese brand or European brand??
*
For electrical appliance, go for Japanese brands. As for European brands, most are not made in Europe. WHy need to pay a premium for same quality?
And for any heat transfer equipment, it is not meant for everyday usage.

Single usage just get a TL, cheaper, more reliable, cleaning quality are on par with FL nowadays.

Nope, waste of money, just use Top detergent and hang your laundries after wash and let air dry with fan thumbup.gif

Mine is LG 7kg FL (Model 7010). I also suspect could be PCB problem. Do you know what's the market rate to change a PCB? If expensive, i might just change a new machine.

Does using the WM daily (2-3 loads) kill the machine faster?  tongue.gif

For Korean brands, 1 load a day also way too much for it.
For Korean front loads, if it states 7KG, max load you shall put in is 3KG.
3 years for a Korean brand to fail is consider lucky already.

Hi Guys,

Is it ok to get Panasonic thinking to get either of this model :

13.5KG ECONAVI Active Foam SystemNA-F135X1
11.5KG ECONAVI Active Foam System NA-F115X1

but some fo the shop mention Pana not good anymore... suggest me to buy LG.... any help here...

Thanksss...

LG are giving more commission while Panasonic are not.
If you don't mind to send the WM to service center regularly, Korean brands are still the best brand to go with.

Hi all sifus,

Is this WM-TL any good ?

PANASONIC NA-F90X1 WASHER

or go for model like Electrolux FL ?

Thanks in advance!
*
Depend to your goals, if you only want to throw the WM away after 10 years, sure TL, if you want to have 2 WM in your house, sure FL as it sure break down at least once over the warranty period thumbsup.gif
