No choice, my house only do laundry once a week, with that mountain of cloth, no time for going 3/4 round washing.

Capacity around 13-14 kg 1 time.

Weekday work till late night, weekend got activities.

I'm not the 1 doing laundry, so can't complaint much, ...... So just paid the money....... rclxub.gif

Getting 10-12KG more practical, just reschedule washing time. Wash once a week are good on collecting bacteria.
If Toshiba don't have, get Panasonic.

I work in PanaXXXXX b4, so is no for me on any PanaXXXXX product, old day under Natioxxx Flagship is diff, new flagship under panaXXXXX  is bye bye to quality.
*
Then you have to figure it out, for me, WM will be either Toshiba or Panasonic.
For Panasonic, parts are from China, but made in Thailand, so for me is still ok.

Non inverter not last longer than inveter motor for more quiet works

You want me to tease you again or what?
I can make sure an inverter model fails as fast as 1 year by putting it on full load and wash it 3-4 times daily.

Electrolux 8kg EWF10842 = RM2150
The model EWP85752 actually only RM1599
*
The more expensive model consume 2200W, that's 2.2 units per hour.
Also quick wash load only 1,8KG, bedding 3KG(I'm wondering what type of bedding only 3KG) sweat.gif

you just unlucky...inverter and non inverter also got life span...warranty claim la no need tease
*
Nope, my TL Toshiba already last me for solid 9 years while my company provided FL last for poor 2 years. How it is used matters notworthy.gif
And just to let you know, now they are clever also, the long period warranty only can be used once and we have to register online to enjoy this.

Nowadays inveter motor comes with 10yrs warranty why you so worried?

Also if you wanna get smaller capacity and used like 12kg load then nothing can be said.
*
As said, motor claim are only once during that long period(some till 12 years).
12KG load already can wash almost everything, but setback is the water and power consumption sweat.gif

Because I unlike you, for normal household got nothing heavy daily wash... For us inverter is the most quiet & energy saving for recent tech.

If inverter can't last then stick with non inverter, very suffer one, after 2 yrs can hear the bearing balancing noisy and motor noise some more.
*
Well, my non inverter only start to give high noise after 6 years, and most of the time under 80-90% load.

Samsung is RM3799, Electrolux RM3899

If were to consider cost of sending to dobby on washing bigger items like comforter and bed sheet, a FL can cost rm6000-7000 for 10 years run on washing, another rm1000-2000 on electric bill.

Good evening.

My Electrolux washing machine suddenly cannot power on. Checked the wall socket, there is power so it's not electricity problem. I kept trying to press the on/off button but it just won't turn on. The machine is only 3 years old. Is the main board burnt in your opinion? Any of u experienced the same problem?

May have to call Electrolux tomorrow. Noticed that the warranty has run out. Any one has experience how much they charge for the call out fee? Thanks!
*
Check the plug's fuse first.
Depending on model, it may be costly if really circuit board failed. Inverter type?

Lucky my Toshiba's repair cost are very low since any of the people that have some basic knowledge on electronics and foreman can repair those old school WM whistling.gif

My god. For that amount of money might as well buy a new one sad.gif

That's why I never bother to buy Electrolux , not just initial cost higher, even after warranty repair cost also high.

Haiz. Let me check out their call out charges first. Hope not mcb although very likely. Can't be motor for sure
*
Just give them a call and see.
If motor have problem, then this brand you can dump already.

I'm happy with the washing result of the Electrolux. No tangle up etc. Just didn't imagine that it will suddenly black out like that.

As a contingency, what's a 10kg machine to recommend? Just reading back the last 10 pages. Noticed supersound vouch for toshiba and panasonic. Any specific model? Thanks!
*
TL now also won't cause laundries to tangle, as long as you don't put them on high spin speed.
All WM now have functions to control this.
I have no specific models, as long as you get the basic non inverter type, without door locking mechnism you are good to go. If 10KG should cause you < rm1300.
A rm500+xxx charges MCB or buy a new that can last long, you do the maths.

supersound I have just seen a forumer complain panasonic washing  TL machine spoiled after 3 yrs use. Nowadays washing machine cannot last more than 5 yrs. how about double top leader? washing and drying? it's cheaper than top leader alone and 8 kg capacity. Midea brand rm200 only
*
Is it inverter or not?
As the shop that I visited says differently.
If you worry, just get Toshiba, quite good also thumbup.gif
Life span if comparing TL to FL, TL always last longer.

how about top loader compared with twin tube?
what is the difference inverter and non inverter on washing machine?
*
A panasonic 14KG non inverter only consuming 480W(simple desgin) while 17KG inverter consuming 560W. But price difference almost rm500.
Power consumption won't be that much and by using bigger capacity WM, you consume more water. 10-13KG are good enough already for day to day 5 family members and monthly bedsheet, comforter cleaning.

Hi guys. Need advise on FL WM. Looking at panasonic inverter 10kg vs electrolux inverter 9kg. Price is similar.. around 2.4k. Are this both good models? Pros and cons? Thank you bros n sis!
*
What are you planning to wash?
For FL, you need to check the actual load as usually stated big 10KG, actual load are only 7-8KG.

Yea... king size. I thought inverter = Quiet... I'm moving into a condo, so sound is kinda important to me. Also why not Electrolux? Thanks for the info bro
*
Is the motor used, it won't be that quiet. 9KG seems to under load, as 10KG can wash the whole set(bedsheet, comforter in a goal) thumbup.gif

Thanks for the advise. So the Pana would be better than the electrolux then. Its kinda a good time to buy too i guess, lotsa freebies n etc

RM2499 sounds alrite?
*
I only interested on TL models. FL models I won't really recommend you to use, price is 1 factor, reliability are another.
Some says TL won't wash clean but again if you don't know how to use FL, it won't clean your laundries also. Like FL's quick wash only can clean 10-20% from its rated load and not based on full load.
