Consider getting the bigger RWB560P2M instead.
It won't take up too much more space but fridge feels better in size than the smaller unit.

That's still expensive especially the 490 which is silver cause silver cost much less.
Sorry to say but you just got suckered into buying their extended warranty.

the cheapest I saw was at Lazada - but they didnt have the color that I wanted. Always black color available. After their discount voucher can get around 2500 for the bigger unit

in the end I had to pay more for GST and the increase.....sigh. Cant win

No unusual noise. Sounds like any other fridge. It came this morning. I just turn it on at about 8:30pm. Seriously it is consider quiet. You guys got dog ears or something?

Hitachi has a staggering 33 models in its fridge line up. If they weren't good and problematic, do you think they be selling so many models?

Not cold? If the basic function of a fridge also they cant do properly, I think early also chup lup already. Mine I set to economy mode also damn cold already. As for the noise, mine is R-WB560P2M. My friends one is R-W750FPMX. I look at it, both using the same compressor. Both also very silent. Im saying it is silent, not "not noisy".

hmmm...my hitachi R-WB560P2M is now making a high pitch sound during some period of the day but it does goes off.
I have not notice anything for 3 months until two days ago. So far I have heard it twice.
