That is 1 of the reason why the freeze locate at below.

But still no good if have to crack your back to get thing inside. Imagine for old people.

Drawer is better.
*
I think all bottom freezer are drawer type
Even if its a swing door at the bottom, inside compartments are still pull out drawers

eg. sharp french door fridge

Quite noisy when the compressor is working... Can hear till the living hall ... But my house still empty though... That's why can hear in the living hall.. But the Samsung fridge in my office pantry is about the same size.. But no noise at all 😥
*
It does give out a high pitch and it only annoyed me one time. I had it for a year now. My kitchen and living room is near to each other and it's open. I noticed it doesn't make that noise all the time. To me I only hear it like 10% of the time and I'm at home most of the day. Bottom line for me, I consider it normal and not noisy
My Hitachi is the 3 doors French top and bottom drawer type

Now Panasonic got a similar fridge

Most of the time I sit about 2m from the fridge. The compressor ventilated grill is facing out to my side.

Hardly hear the sound. Only able to hear it when run full speed and very quiet inviroment. And it is not high pitch. Most of the time it doesn't run full speed.

It more quiet than my old panasonic fridge. But the panasonic compressor is expose outside. While the hitachi conseal inside.
*
You old already cannot hear high pitch laugh.gif
Kidding aside, I hardly hear it. I think less than 10 times in one year
The first time I heard it, it did annoyed me. After that I think got used already
Strange got many ppl complain about hitachi fridge is noisy.

Btw my hitachi compressor got no cover so can consider exposed. Your high end elite Japan imported punya got cover probably 😁

Panasonic vs Hitachi 3 doors (French door and bottom drawer) side by side comparison

Hitachi taller, Panasonic wider. Hitachi got one extra shelf space. Hitachi is deeper a bit also. Hitachi has smaller chilled drawer. Panasonic's chilled drawer is a bit too big and thereby wasted a shelf space imho.
Panasonic can put more bigger bottles at the doors. Has two lights, one on each side. Hitachi only has one light and placed on top.

Panasonic freezer drawer has one divider to separate your stuff. Ice cubemaker is fixed at one position. Hitachi's freezer drawer is one open space with one drawer compartment. Ice cube maker/box is loose and can be position anywhere. Other than that I think not much difference.

Panasonic has Econavi. It's more expensive than Hitachi.
Unfortunately both got no auto ice maker. To me not much difference between these two models. See which one fits your needs more only

Any problems with the door center rubber seal?
*
Put a flash light inside and close the door. See from outside got light leak or not. Mine wasn't close enough so cold air would leak out. This is when it was new. After replacing the rubber seals ok .

Who do we call to replace the rubber seal? My old sharp fridge center door rubber seal has moldy thing on it. I have tried scrubbing and cleaning to no avail.
*
Call Sharp biggrin.gif

Btw this is why I bought Hitachi for my new place. Some of their fridge has anti-mould rubber seals

This sharp really didn't improve the fridge tech.

Antimold seal is already very old tech. It should be standard part for all fridge.
*
yeah my previous Sharp fridge also got these black mould. i read that they are bad for health.
washing machine also get them if you dont dry up the water from the rubber seal

Normal detergent or some cleaning spray will do right?

Don't use any chemical or detergent to clean the rubber seal. Just wet cloth will do.

Cause any chemical will wipe out the anti mold from the rubber seal and degrade the rubber.

Ok good to know! Lucky I didn't wipe anything hehe...👍🏻
I did wash the ice tray and ice box. I don't remember wiping the shelves haha....

This is my wet kitchen picture.
[attachmentid=7015000]

According to the refrigerator spec, the width is 900mm. I've measured The space for refrigerator in my kitchen which is 900mm as well.

Question : can it fit? I don't plan to install any fridge cabinet.

Thank you.
*
this drawing of your wet kitchen? on the right side of the fridge got what there? in the picture, there is nothing there except that the fridge seems to eat into the door behind it. if nothing is there, yes can fit but look nice or not is another thing since it could be blocking the door

another option is to get those 3 doors fridge - see here

This kind of fridge?

*
side by side - normally the entire left side is the freezer and the right, the fridge. thats why it waste a lot of space unless you got lots of things to put in your freezer. fridge side very narrow because space taken up by the freezer

4 doors - looks like a side by side but top part is the fridge, bottom is the freezer. normally refer to as french doors

two doors - is like half of a french door fridge (like in the pics you posted). both top or bottom positioned freezer are available

3 doors - top using french doors style for the fridge, bottom pull out drawer for freezer

last but not least are those with multiple doors, that one must ask owner ozak rclxms.gif

It is strange that if TS able to have ID to help (according to the 3D pic), why now have trouble to fit a fridge?

The ID should be already provide a correct fridge size space to fit.
*
nowadays ID half bucket of water wan biggrin.gif
but from the drawings, seems there is nothing there on the right side except that it is blocking a door
