You need at least minus out 50mm on both side. So 700mm or less.

The more space for the side, the more heat the fridge can despair out. That help reduce the bill.

Today I went to Daiso bought some magnetic clips. I stick the clips to the side of my fridge so I can hang my hand towel and kitchen towel. The heat from the fridge drys up the wet towels and prevent it from getting smelly biggrin.gif

Oh! Now I remember I forgot to look for the washing machine cleaning powder. doh.gif

Good idea wor.

Last time I use to put the after wash shoe at the bottom of the fridge.  biggrin.gif

I feel that my Hitachi fridge have something like clock or memory inside the controller. Every weekday I will open the fridge at 7.20am. I will hear the compressor running fast. But others hr is silent.

I think it can record your behavior of using the fridge and adjust accordingly. Macam got brain inside.  hmm.gif
*
A high pitch sound? Very seldom I hear it
So early morning you take what from the fridge? biggrin.gif

Panasonic got econavi. If got similar thing, hitachi why no tayang?

Take margarine for bread lor.  biggrin.gif

Not high pitch sound. It is like running full speed at that particular time than other time.

Cause early morning, there is no reason at that time to run full speed. Unless it detect I everyday open the fridge at that particular time.
*
I also open the door around the same time (take butter n kaya in case you want to know ๐Ÿ˜…)
I didn't notice anything on mine. Hmmm...I will pay more attention tomorrow

HI ,

Have a question here, usually for a fridge that fit into the kitchen cabinet slot (as in a space to fit the fridge) the switch is usually on the back of the fridge.

So wont it be hard to switch on/off of the fridge? or do nowadays the switch is move to other place? or easy to access it.

Sorry abit new on this matters
*
I can see my switch but my arm not long enough to reach it. I use a broom to tekan the switch

The back of my fridge on the left, right is my washer with dryer stacked up

I'm hearing a constant whining sound from my Hitachi
Previously only once in awhile it would make that whine but this one week I can constantly hear it.

I think I will have to call support before my warranty ends in two months.

Is there any fridge in the market where the door is opened from the right to the left? The reason I am asking is because the slot for my fridge is just next to the wall on its right, so I am afraid the door cannot be fully opened.
*
i remember got something like this - both sides can be open

That bottom freezer type is not a good idea. Better a drawer type.

A forumer selling his new multi door type. Freezer bottom. At a very good price.

Search back ontop.

that R-WB850P5M also has pull-out drawers at the bottom freezer ozak
just that you have to open the swing doors first.

Anyone using the Sharp  SJF85VMSS refrigerator? If so can comment on performance and any problem with the main door? Saw some where previously that the door is not closing well.

And this model too....Hitachi  R-S800P2M.

I had narrow down to this two model as the compartment do play a big part in putting things nicely and orderly manner.

Comments on the above two models very much appreciated. Thanks.

i had a similar Sharp French 4-door fridge before. Had a problem with the top doors not sealing well. got them to change the magnetic rubber seals, after that no problems
the Hitachi has a bar at the door that flips out so that the other side door can nicely make a seal on the bar thereby eliminating the problem that Sharp fridge faces

one thing I noticed, Hitachi fridge has a much deeper shelves compare to other brands. Go measure it yourself

I only see the swing door. Once I see the swing door, it is bad design.

As long as it is drawer, that is ok.

No eeee.... sound. Aaahh.... sound ada.  biggrin.gif

Feeling the running compressor sound is higher compare new.

Got to test it out the current db to compare.

Few week ago, power trip and I m holiday away for 4days.  sweat.gif

Still feel the cold like 22c or 24c.

Lucky I transfer all the meat out before holiday. And have many ice gel pack inside. Make more ice in the ice box. That help to prolong the cold.

Got to think a way how to maintain the fridge power if go for long holiday. hmm.gif

TNB suddenly no power?
