Thanks for the heads up. I'm actually quite surprise to see that most of the apps I have had on 1.1.4 are in App Store or at least they're similar ones available. Waiting for customize and SMB to be ported to 2.0 and that would completes everything.

Can't wait to start purchasing apps. My debit card registration has not gone thru yet. And I'm typing this on my iPhone and it lags like shiiiiiit! Browsing + iPod don't mix I think!

Damn man after making space using boss tool and even using the phone carefully also crash.Yup u said it guys its the 2.0 firmware.Anyidea when 2.0.1 will be out?

now i manage to create custom 2.0 fw but im using xpwn method...but i still cant get my iphone to restore to custom 2.0 fw...

i also try to use custom 2.0 fw created by xpwn n use ipwner to pwn itune and dfu mode to restore 2.0 fw but end up same...

error 6, 13...

anyone here can help? i really follow iclarified step by step...

Do you use ipwner to pwn the itunes,and put your phone auto lock to never...i do this 2 step,and done

ipnwner try already, but auto lock never do...now i just restore back to 1.1.4...

nxt week just try again...thankz...

For me I prefer that the first page is only the official apps/icons while the unofficial goes to page two. (except for Contacts.app )

Don't mix the usage of WinPwn's iPwner and xPwn, you might have missed a step or two. I assume, after running iPwner, you didn't perform the "dfu-util" procedure?

Yes, BossTool will be of no use to you on a regular basis.

kai5814, I've followed the iClarified tutorials and also with the help of a friend (Samanoske Akechi) thanks and I managed to run firmwarer2.0 on my iPhone now. You should try a couple of times, I tried mine twice.

To the rest of you guys, WinPwn's almost near perfection, with a lot lesser bugs and problems now than compared to the first release I tried, 2.0. Version 2.0.0.4's coming out soon to address more errors like error 6, 13 etc.

Bro need some advice.I did use winpwn 2.0.0.2 and managed to restore without any errors but before restore you have to put your phone in DFU mode which means your phone screen is blank. Mine showed the itunes cable logo but i did the restore without any errors. Did i do it right?

Anyone experiencing lagging on the phone? im going to experiment some issues on the phone especially uninstalling certain applications which i dont think should be on it which could due to the lagging effect..before im doing it i jes wanna know if any of u guys did anything to counter the lagging? taaa

No worries, mate. It's a good thing. What this means is that the DFU exploit has already been patched into your phone, AKA your phone has already been Pwned prior to the restore. Basically, if your phone has been Pwned before, future restores will no longer require that you put your phone into DFU mode, or even Pwning iTunes. Recovery Mode, as you have experienced, will work perfectly fine. However, this will only apply is you ONLY restore using Pwned IPSWs. Once you've restored using a stock firmware file, the Pwn will revert, and you'll have to do the DFU procedure again.

As mentioned a couple of times earlier, the lagging is completely normal The culprit behind isn't the apps installed, but the actual buggy 2.0 firmware itself. We'll have to bear with it until the 2.1 update is released, which'll hopefully address the lag and crashing issues.
