i'm afraid no. you will need a singaporean friend or relative to sign up a plan for you.

how you negotiate with seller/friend etc. To compare with NZ is difficult. If profit not included, nz slightly cheaper and no headache.

u r getting ur iphone 3g this morning... as far i am concern, we need to sign up for contract... therefore we need to ask any sgrean to buy for us (malaysian) and they have to sign up a contract for us using their name? so who pay the monthly bill? any prepaid plan for iphone 3g?

you need to get someone who's a singaporean who is willing enough to take up just the plan while leaving the iphone for you.

in my case, tough luck, my singaporean friends would rather take up the plan together with the iphone for themselves.

i think, i'll try persuade my aunties and uncles. shouldn't be a problem for them if they see the plan fits as they don't have a clue what's this iphone hype all about. heh.

It's up to you, pay them in advanced or terminate the account after 3 month.
