eh?? y the 80gb n 160gb same price wan. wen i click the promotion for 160g is same as 80g.
they didnot update ka??

just now went to sony centre klang and ask for the price.
the tauke sor said rm1899.00 + 1 game.
then i said got 2 free games mah from sony.
she said free 2 game must buy the 40"lcd tv only can get 2 games
thinking i m sohai ka.. damm... u

i think it should be 80gb + 2 games for 1899 and 160gb console alone without game for 1899

diff price rm1599 for 80gb console only and rm1899 for 160gb

so it like you pay extra rm300 for another 80gb, not worth it.

to be honest i think the sony centers now have the best bargains for PS3.

1599 for console only, but 1788 gets 1 game and gift; 1988 gets game, extra DS3 and gifts (i'm not quite sure coz i just caught it with the side of my eyes)
but then, it never hurts to find out.

That is not a 160gb. That is a 80gb console.....

If you dont click on the promotion is obvious the price for 160gb is RM1899 without games and 1599 for 80gb without games.

A console is only RM1599. If you buy you get RM36 voucher in Card
Old games only RM129. If you buy a game you will get RM4 voucher

Might as well

RM 1599 (Console)
+
RM36 (Voucher)

Then buy game
RM195 (new game) - RM36 (Voucher) and get RM4 voucher..

It seems that the 80GB version promo is worth a lot compared to the 160GB version. But how about the Cell Pro & RSX for the 160GB? Is it 65nm or 90nm?

the 160GB and 80GB both 65nm cell & rsx...the diffrence = HDD size

How to confirm this? Please refer to Edepot eventhough there's no proof of their claim.

I was looking around Low Yat yesterday and I was looking at the PS3s for sale. 80 GB PS3 + MGS4 = 1450 + 194 = 1644...is that a worthy deal? How much should an extra controller cost? Anything I should be careful about?

Great, i wanted to get it at Midvalley today. My initial plan was to get the PS3 console alone at Rm1599, then use the rebate reward (Rm32 or something) to get a game.

The salesperson told me that offer is only valid at Sony Style, not applicable for Sony Center.

Anyway i'm going off town so gonna get it at the curve maybe next week.
