just got a ps3 just now from sony style in KLCC. new promo....price of console is now RM1599.

LBP package is RM1788
You can also choose package without any game but with extra controller at this price.

definitely worth it the 80G consider that they now don't require you to purchase compulsary games with a price of 1599. but bear in mind that this could be only available in official stores as in the ones in klcc, times square and the curve.

if you can wait, the salesperson mentioned that the white and silver will be coming in soon too...

i guess you are right...as long as you are ok with the price. some will say it's expensive but then it's really up to personal preference.

both will work, as i was told, HDMI like those monster cable will provide excellent quality if your tv is Full HD

and yeah, it's probably sg set....around that range now....

i think rm1599 would be applicable to all sony shops, but to be on the safe side, visit the ones in either klcc, times square or the curve as these are i think company owned stores.

reason i am saying this is, i asked about installment plan in sony the gardens, and they said will charge extra, where else i know that sony klcc is 0% plan. my guess is apart from these 3, the rest are more like franchise outlets.

sony style have it's pros. installment is 0% alongside that you get to have some sort of like rebate in terms of the sony style card. which you can use it to get your extra controller....

which sony style you went to? i got the card quite sometime ago when i bought sony ericsson handphone in klcc almost 2 years ago. that's when they gave the card.
