mek sure u got download both driver + CCC & install both.
suggest u uninstall previous version of driver 1st.

dun get confuse. 8.8 is the name of the driver. in driver information, it will show driver version which is 8.522.0.0

try sapphire toxic extreme bios.

it seams dat only 4850 user complaining on CCC 8.8.
i'm using 8.8 now on my 4870, no problem......

ask ur manufactur.
my 4870 is gigabyte, i asked dem, 4 me, no problem, can tek out & clean.

3 years warranty, if nvr clean, ur gc can kong within 1 year.

2) i leave my side panel open. dis kind of blink will blind my eyes as i sits in front of my comp almost 24/7.

wit stock fan, ur comp will hang after hours of intensive gaming (auto fan).

not 2 mention, wit stock fan, it is virtually impossible 2 OC.

ha......every has different needs ma.

4 me, i dun like noise.
coz i leave my side panel open, stock fan i really cannot tahan.

gpu cooler is also a sort of investment, next time new gc also can use.

even @ 100% fan speed, not really dat noticeable, i can tolerate it.
bt of coz, i dun put 100%.

performance wise, very good. stock idle @ 80+C, now, mine idle @ 30+.
no matter how long i ply game, temperature nvr ever hit 50.
