Starcraft 2 is not that heavy. At least u got decent DX9 card. Remember there was no Blizzard game need high performance card afaik.

Did anyone here using driver ccc8.8, is it stable? Because after changing from 8.7 to 8.8, my lcd sometime suddenly black out, then blue screen appear, nex thing is autorestart.
have been experienced this 3-4 times this week. I uploaded my minidump file in technical help forum, the senior pointed me to change bc the driver.
So want to ask did anyone here having the same problem like mine?
I am using reference 4850, and i think my PSU is totally sufficient for my gc, cooler master real power 550w.

base on the reply at that forum, humm i can't see any reason on how ati manage to "learn" crysis warhead API and optimize it to 8.9 before the game is released, since crysis warhead = the way it meant to be pay game..

Hi, i just install cat.8.9 but every game frame become slower n sluggish but benchmark for vantage improve by 200+ points, so decided to go back to cat. 8.8 but when install 8.8 the window cant detect the driver saying no ati driver, what the heck, dont tellme we cant backward the driver, thing i have done, uninstall many times still unsuccessful but when i install back cat. 8.9 it works but gamng still sluggush, any solution guys. TQ

Normally i will unistall the old driver then install the new driver but this time as stated earlier it works fine on benchmark but not on games, this is kind of strange to me or rather first time i come across, anyway i manage to get back to cat. 8.8 by installing cat 8.7 then follow by cat. 8.8 everything works fine on game n on benchmark now, again i am rather curious why cat. 8.9 doesnt seems to be friendly with my gaming but good on benchmark.
