Yeah, got rejected twice for the stupid ikea alliance card... its harder to get it than an amex black card i suppose
helpline not helpful - long 15 min wait even at around 3pm.. its not even lunchtime 

even though I already have stanchart n maybebank punya cards. 

the Amex Plat CC, they say will be combined with my current MBB visa? Not really sure thought because i just heard from the banker saying this. If combined CL, that's kinda disappointing. Anyone can confirm on this?

anybody can recommend which bank balance transfer is best? in term good services & fast approved & low rate? who doing bank also can introduce to me.

Currently, i have Maybank & Ambank & Aeon.
Actually i have apply Maybank Petronas B.T from Aeon. But Maybank approve me in New Card not B.T. Meanwhile, they is combine limit with my other Maybank CC. Dunno what for they approved my application? nothing special.

argh.... so dissapointed with Carrefour. The Credit card machine is showing sign of PayPass and Visa Wave.

so im try to pay with my Direct Access PayPass, but it's fail. later i try with my UOB One Visa Wave, and it's immediately pass through.

his CIMB definately is Platinium 1 lol... what else it can be. im right, Terapox?

You aren't the first to comment about CIMB's service being lousy.  I am a DA CC user and I find the CS call centre lousy.  My office uses CIMB and I hear my Accounts/Finance department alwiz complaining about the bank not picking up her calls.

I plan to apply any low-end card and simply use for "certain period"

Then as usual, approval is very high once I got cc ... then only apply maybank or international bank.

But the thing is, how long normally is the "certain period" ?

2~3 months counted ?

P/S Whats charge,, choice and credit card ? Any differences?

I have problem in applying cc... my annual income is above 70k and provided full documents like epf, ea, form b, tax receipt, salary slips and all to HSBC but rejected... what's wrong do u think?

That's the thing. It's very odd, you pay a lot for premium services, then you get people who don't speak properly, who will promise you the earth and not deliver, sometimes you wonder what the point is.

want to ask, i am hsbc card holder, if i paid  the bill one day late, will kena late fee + interest or not?

For UOB, they will issue 2 cards right? So which means will have 2 statements as well???

just confirmed with amex centre that the amex cc card will be combined limit with my current mbb visa. then they will charge me another RM 800 FOR THE ANNUAL FEE. Tinkerbel, Terapox , your statement already charged annual fee? They said no waiver given to this card.

it's not the matter of rich or not laa.. RM 800 is quite alot if for paying annual fee of CC ..  Just like paying a teh o ais limau for RM 50 ..
But if fully utilize the card benefit and also the prestige card , perhaps like terapox say it is worth it... but they combined my CL with my current MBB visa and totally unacceptable lor...    

Are you saying the Amex Gold charge card has no annual fee? Any condition?

well can i clarify few things ;-

1) can i actually view/check my account online ? just like maybank2u like that
if yes, can I know how to do that .

2) what's the purpose of the PIN for credit card ATM ? what for we need to use credit card in atm .. kinda blur

3) how do you guys normally make payment ? cash deposit or online transfer ? like I dont have saving in CIMB, so if i use GIRO transfer from maybank to CIMB will be charge rm2 right ?

4) is it safe to give credit card number for online thing ? will they going to abuse my card ?

I think thats all my question for now ... need to understand more about credit card world lol

amex gold is free lo, can call in to get it waived. Same like Master and Visa procedure. Terapox ah, i still prefer free card. Lol
