Dear forum members,

I would like to open an online trading account with Jupiter Securities but I am not able to be at the Jupiter Securities headquarter
to sign the application form. Therefore, I need to sign the form in front of notary public as witness. May I know who is this 'Notary Public'
referrring to? Is Notary Public same as the Commissioner of Oath? Thanks in advance for any helpful reply.

Planning to switch to them because of their attractive brokerage rate. But how are their services i.e. reliable? Is the brokerage firm well capitalised? Thanks.

Its easier if u have online banking account like M2U. Just transfer and give Jupiter a call.

I'm using primarily HSBC. I'm just concerned about a delay in funds transfer. If so I will consider opening an account with M2U before going to Jupiter to open a trading account there.

Can use HSBC. More details on the website. Go to Jupiteronline.com.my. And put your cursor on the Menu section > Useful Information > Make Payment. There's a list of banks for your convenience.

Thanks that really helps! biggrin.gif

I have one more question, and its more general. I'm planning to head down to Jupiter tomorrow. Do I need to open a new CDS account with them? Or can I link my existing one without dropping my existing remiser?

Since u're planning to go to their office, I suggest u to talk to them directly. Just call their office and ask what to bring before u go there.
U can also join their free monthly seminar.

We cant really answer to ur questions regarding their processes as we're the client, the same like u.

And our representative seems to be very busy nowadays. hmm.gif

Yeah only 5 pages for me. Not sure how.

BTW, any of u guys coming to the Asia Trader & Investor 2010 at KL Convention Centre this weekend? I probably will hangout at Jupiter Online booth. And will attend their talk on Sunday. Also the best way to ask all the questions regarding their service and all. Come come.
