yeah damn right man, my heart was beating like crazy when fed played.
but I felt everything was worth it when the super gila lob shot gave him the 2-0 lead in the fifth set. his reaction was priceless when he won the point. he pumped and jumped like a kid man. he looked damn happy lol This post has been edited by tysern: Sep 3 2008, 05:38 PM |

Yeah, the lob is crazy. I'm not sure whether this match will help Federer or maybe make him tired for the remaining matches.
I think on the paper Federer has the easiest opponent in quarterfinal, but Muller has been creating upsets almost everytime he plays so far. Federer cannot underestimate this guy. Today we have Venus vs Serena. So far i think both of them have been the BEST players in the US Open, thrashing all their opponents. Its pretty sad for them to meet in the quarterfinal.. too early.. We also have Murray vs Del Potro and Nadal vs Fish. Fish will have all the crowd backing him surely. ![]() Never see Federer in such emotion. Its just priceless. |

This just looks like the Federer before he made it to the top back then. Lots of emotions instead of the 07 very cool federer lol.
I would agree that Serena and Venus are the 2 favourites to win... they're playing very high level of tennis at the moment. |

haha yeah, I hope this boosts federer's level of play.
anyway, as for the women, the williams are like totally ownage man, although i would love to see jankovic give it all out. IMHO, she deserves at least one slam title after all the hard work she has done. |

Yeah. He does seem passionate about the game.. no doubt.. from what i see through his emotions.
Djokovic seems weak to me also. He said he doesn't feel well after the long match against Cilic at night.. Stomach ache, and seem lethargic in the match. I think Roddick may have a chance to beat him in the quarterfinals. Really tough for Djokovic. I think this maybe the biggest chance for Jankovic to get into the final of a Grand Slam event. Today's Schedule QUOTE Arthur Ashe Stadium Not before 12:30 a.m Flavia Pennetta (16), Italy, vs. Dinara Safina (6), Russia Not before 2 a.m Juan Martin del Potro (17), Argentina, vs. Andy Murray (6), Britain Night Session - Start time 7AM Serena Williams (4), United States, vs. Venus Williams (7), United States Rafael Nadal (1), Spain, vs. Mardy Fish, United States ![]() Shockingly, Roddick beat Gonzalez easily in 3 sets. |

nothing much to do with the preparation... and i m not saying preparation is not important... gonzalez was playing crap... roddick going into this tournament with full of confidence coz he is playing with the full support of his home crowd... and when u have that kind of strong support thus u will be able to play very well... he knows he has to take control of the match and so he managed with all the support that he has from the crowd...
i m quite sure roddick is spur by the fact that he has not won any grand slams for quite some time already... so i guess the hunger is there... gonzalez was just intimidated by roddick's supreme control and bull-charging him on court during the match lol... |

With all the pains and injuries Djokovic says he is having now, i think Roddick has a great chance of beating Djokovic....
Murray just beat Del Potro in a long 4 sets match that pushed through the night matches... Now Venus and Serena are about the start now... I predict Nadal vs Fish match will surely end very late tonight... He's tired, no? Hahha. |

don't count nadal out yet... everytime he one set down then next set he comes back on... fish needs to concentrate and push nadal all the way...
