QUOTE(vincent_ng86 @ Mar 11 2009, 11:16 AM) should be i guess.....with RM100 commitment fee/month.. 6 month plan iphone = RM3k , local warranty and crap... 24month iphone = 1.9k 12 months iphone = 2.3k For those who's usage is >RM100, doesn't mind using Maxis ... they have no reason to go for Singapore set at all ... unless the price is half of what maxis offer. And that is pretty much impossible. noticed a clause; Data included in i-Value Plans applies to GPRS usage only and excludes SMS, mobile content downloads and other subscription based services. Data bundle is for local usage only. While roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges will apply. GPRS only? what bout 3g? lol? |

F**K OFF this Maxis plans. I got my iPhone 3G from Singapore eBay in August for $1000 SGD. Now I use whatever plan I like. Whatever carrier I like. Right now RM50 for calls, SMS, RM 100 for unlimited 3G = RM 150 per month from Maxis.
Touch wood my iPhone 3G no problem. Also, I have been enjoying this since August 2008. I wish all those the best, and enjoy your iPhone 3G and glad that it is finally launched in Malaysia. As for me though, these Maxis plans can go kiss my a**. Again, touching wood my iPhone 3G from Singapore won't have any issues! LOL. |

lets say u plan to buy the 8GB phone with iValue plan RM100 for 12 months, means u have to buy the iphone for RM1900 for the phone, and every month u have to pay RM100 for 12 months lo... meaning u paid RM100 credit... if u use Below RM100... then u still have to pay maxis rm100.. IF u use more then Rm100 for that month example Rm150.. then u have to pay RM150 on that month..
Basically the longer u tied to maxis.. the cheaper ur phone is.. lol.. This post has been edited by pelvin: Mar 11 2009, 11:35 AM |

finally... but no unlimited data plan? have to pay extra or not at all available via the iphone plans? anyways, i already have one since last year & based on the plans, i think i made the right choice. though now my family members can get one if they like, which they've been hassling me for since i got mine.
good news for existing owners, i hope the itunes store will get a much needed expansion. This post has been edited by dawn152: Mar 11 2009, 11:37 AM |
