Doesn't sounds too bad, but then the plans call and sms rate doesn't seems as good as value 80 plan

In the same time, will those AP sets be cheaper now?
*
should be i guess.....

with RM100 commitment fee/month..

6 month plan
iphone = RM3k , local warranty and crap...

24month
iphone = 1.9k

12 months
iphone = 2.3k

For those who's usage is >RM100, doesn't mind using Maxis ... they have no reason to go for Singapore set at all ... unless the price is half of what maxis offer. And that is pretty much impossible.

noticed a clause; Data included in i-Value Plans applies to GPRS usage only and excludes SMS, mobile content downloads and other subscription based services. Data bundle is for local usage only. While roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges will apply.

GPRS only? what bout 3g? lol?

no, u r wrong. if anyone using maxis postpaid more than rm100 monthly, the plan is quite interested.

Not exactly, current value plus plan includes SMS, Data and Calls in the monthly commitment. But this ivalue only includes DATA and Calls, no SMS ...
MY SMSes charges is like RM50 per month... is it still worthwhile for me? Nope

Maxis confirmed the iPhone is officially unlock. The plan is up to you to choose and you have to purchase the iPhone with the plan provided, no free iPhone.

For 3g users, RM99 for every month on top of the subscribed Plan.

Cheers

one of the clauses says

note the GPRS part? It didn't say 3G ... unless GPRS = 3G

I-Value vs Value Plus, what is the difference?
Before this I never heard of I-Value?

Now let’s look at the plan. For iValue plan, the commitment fee is inclusive of Calls and DATA (GPRS*) only. SMS are to be charged extra. That is if the way i read the table is correct.

I’ll use RM80 value plus package as comparison.

RM100 iValue plans give you
333 minutes of talk time and 500MB of DATA transfer.
333 minutes * RM0.12 (charges per minute according to value 80 plan) = RM39.96
500MB * RM10 (with 1sen per kB) = RM5000 *WUUUUUT*
lolwut…

RM155 iValue plans give you
667 minutes of talk time and 1GB of DATA transfer
Wow…. sounds good eh?

My Value Plus 50 call rate only rm0.12 cents per minutes for Maxis-to-Maxis. But the i-Value Plan 1 RM100 only included 333 minutes usage only, which mean the call rate will be rm0.30 per minutes. The i-Value Plan 1 call rate even much more higher than Value Plan 50 call rate, some more it tie to 2 years contract and the 333 minutes only eligible for the domestic voice call only.....Sigh

please think twice before sign up i-Value Plan.........

u need to take in the consideration of the 500mb DATA usage also ...
