It depends, just like how we do comparisons between prices in KL and prices when we head down to Singapore.
Almost anything can be cheaper OR otherwise.
Cameras and hardware are among those as well.

if buy sony product i think malaysia price are cheaper alot. i already compare price to HK and Taiwan and price are more expensive and most important stuff are all made in malaysia.

i tend to disagree. it depends on where u look for it. and there are more choices of sony products here as well.
