Current stock Rim is 5.5jj and I fit in 195/55/R15 and it look weird. According to tyre spec, 5.5 is the minimum can fit in 195/55/R15

What is the recommended RIM jj to fit in 195/55/R15
*
6.5-7jj should be good.

Depends, it can be as cheap as just a few hundred bucks for fake China rims and as much as a few thousand for original good quality Japan lightweight rims. I do suggest to better avoid those fake rims and at least get original Taiwan brands like Enkei Tuning or Advanti, or used original Japan rims like Enkei RPF1.

Well, I'm not really have much knowledge how to differentiate the ori or fake rim.
I would like to go for much lighter compare to ori Toyota tyre.

For 15', something around 4-5kg is considered lightweight, so bring your weight scale when shopping for rims! laugh.gif
Wah Penang I don't know.

99.9% Vossen on sale here are fakes! Vossen is only available in 19' upwards, so if you see those smaller than 19' then surely fake already.

How to tell if a rim is China? Just have to pay attention to the details compared to the originals. So make sure you do your proper research to understand how the original should look like down to the tiniest details, so then when you see the fakes, you can detect them.
For example, there are so many fake Rays CE28N but if you pay attention, you'd notice that they're double PCD and heavier than the ori. The ori CE28N looks like having double PCD but it actually just has extra holes to make it lighter and not double PCD holes. Then the ori is forged super lightweight rims and the fakes are always normal cast type rims which is heavier.

Hi, I just change my wheels back to 16". Previously using 205/50/R15 Yokohama AD08R with Advanti rims and it is hard to find the tyres of that size nowadays.

Currently using Thailand made TE37 replica with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 205/45/R16 tyres. Bought the rims for RM1200 and the tyres at RM285/piece in Dungun, Terengganu.

Interested in getting used Lenso rims. How to check if it's genuine? Since no more box or warranty card.

LOL,

Sumtimes its not really 'fake' per se..
Lets talk Enkei for instance.. Enkei has factories all over the world .. but only those made in Japan carry the 'weight' of the brand tat we know.. meaning those tat are made in Taiwan n even Malaysia are 'fakes'..
BTW, there are outrite fakes from china too tat literally use de design n everyting but not d material/durability..
Of course other brands will have their own story to tell too..
