Hi there, can some share some pictures of your cutie? smile.gif
1) You can give calcium and vitamins if you want to. For extra protein, can feed boiled eggs and chickens, crickets (rotate between giving mealworms)
2) They are more to insectivours, mine doesn't fancy fruits and vege as well.
3) You can change to adult cat, hedgehog needs more protein compared to fat. Kitten contains more fat, you can mix and gradually change to adult.
4) you can try petshack. I believe the price is more or less the same for a big silent wheel. But different brand has different price. If you can get the metal wheel, it will be cheaper. Petsmore might carry them (Last I heard)

Good luck.

thanks for all the advice. Do i feed cat's supplement or is there any specific brand that is suitable? PinCushion only fancy RC and mealies. tried chicken and egg but no luck. that's y i wanna get him some supplement. I will definitly post some pics of my sweetie next time. Not very keen on getting the metal ones- worry that his little feet will get caught. Guess i will just have to buy from Pet Safari then. I've looked at the wheels at Petshack but it's all wodent wheels and i think the openings are too small (?) for my fei chai.

Petshack carries silent and wodent wheels as well. Don't worry if the wheel doesn't fit your fei chai I don't think petshack will recommend you. Haha.

Erm, mine loves eggs and chicken besides mealies. The cat supplements.. There's one brand I forgot the name, gave it to my friend cause mine doesn't take it but hers loves it. Is in a tube form, put some on your finger and feed your hedgie. Bought it from the vet (Hands and Paws) at RM 2x, supplement for cats.

i'm asking him because like you said, the photo, if it's taken recently, i think the mom looks a bit young, but i won't really know by just looking at photos. but even if she's old enough, she looked pretty skinny for a hedgehog which had just given birth. considering that the hoglets will still need mom's milk for 4-5 weeks, maybe she lacked food supply.

but if the photo was taken some time ago, then you can somewhat ignore my statements, not really relevant anymore.

perhaps of old age maybe? since it's her third batch, i think her age is catching up already. but i think there's nothing wrong keeping her with her babies for the time being, unless the hoglets are already over 6 months old. they still need the mom's milk anyway.

You can check it, but should be normal. Unless its shedding lots of quills and the start of the quills doesn't have a little round knob.

spinel : if he still scratching his back, u take him out and check between the quill if something like mites or lice was bothering him. If u can found anything there, u can try to bath him use wheatgerm or oatmeal shampoo to see if he still scratching or not smile.gif

nowaday my boy are snoring so soundly laugh.gif I guess he's too tired after playing the wheel xD

Most of the time there's nothing to worry about.
What I mean is, example:
You know your hair? At the start (Part that connects to the scalp), the end is the tip of your hair, the thinner and more pointy part.
Just like your hair, if it doesn't breaks into half, there's usually a round white little knob at that part right?
That goes same for hedgehogs. If you don't see a round knob part, means it could be causes by mites.
Read from a page that says so.

Tried to get a picture. But not clear.

cricket and worms is just as a treat. If u feed it too much later ur pokimon became fat and will have obesity.
