I know some places in Johor selling, but I won't recommend you buying any from petshops. If you want, I can bring you there to have a look. But only on weekends. My sis may let go hers if you're interested. Female Salt and Pepper 3 months old by next Saturday.

I'm near Jusco Terbau. If you are looking for those sold in petshops in Johor, I might be able to point you to the right directions.

Some of my hedgehog pictures are in garagesales, never update cause all available are sold out already. Only have one more that my sis is keeping and my Boo Boo is not for sale. Hehe

You shud let the hedgie settle down in new environment first..Leave him alone for 2-3days..put ur wore clothes inside..

After 2-3days, u can started to handfeed mealworms or kibbles.

hi....my hersheys doesn't really like mealworms. i bought the dried ones n he doesn't really like it but the kibbles r still ok, haha...oh ya, where do u guys keep your hedgies n what kinda temperature? i on my aircon occasionally cos i'm scared he's too cold. oh ya, how do u guys shower him? do u only do it when u can hand hold him? cos i dun think he got any bath since d day he went to d pet shop...

i just got one too!! last friday actually...on the first day itself my Kookie was really active, so i played alot with her smile.gif she didn't hiss though...but licked my hands alot...i dunno...im new so my experience may not be helpful..huhu but when my Kookie does that hissing n pointing, i would call her name and would put my hands in front of her to smell  (but slowly move away from her) then when she's ok i scoop her up with both hands smile.gif
*
ok smile.gif i'll try to keep that in mind...hopefully he won't hiss n point d next time i play with him >.< thanks for the advice ya

Try to get live insects and let him try... I think he will love it~~ biggrin.gif

My hedgie cage got lot fleece... he will squeeze himself underneath the fleece if he feels cold.. biggrin.gif

U can refer to first page for the bathing process.

Btw, u jus got ur hedgie? Let him settle down with u first only u try to shower him, becoz bathing can cause numerous stress on hedgehog. biggrin.gif

Hi guys! Im getting my hedgehog tomorrow morning. I havent meet him yet but Im really anxious for it. I have not bought a suitable housing and any other preparations. I saw on hedgehog central that we hav to buy at least a 30 gallon fish tank? Or I shall proceed with the rabbit cage? Some mentioned huge plastic container (like the one we use to put in toys + misc stuff from jusco : I have to drill a couple of holes?)

Rabbit cage? Make sure the bottom plastic base is deep enuf, so the hedgie wont climb..

U can use toyogo box, the plastic container... jus remove the cover so u don hav to drill hole for ventilation.. But i think u nid to drill hole to hang ur bottle...

U btter get those stuff today... set it up and get ready... don wait until last min...Make it done today, so tat you can put the hedgie in str8 away tomolo and let him settle down inside the new cage first..

Oh ya, u can get hedgie starter kit from jtl too.. All basic things are included.

After reading most of the previous posts, I have made decision to buy Zoozone 1. Zoozone 2 is a little too big and Im afraid I dont have adequate space for it. And I would like to double check my list again. Mind to help? If I'm not mistaken, he is 3 months old.
- Bedding (Breeder Celect)- Not sure what's this though but I'll get it from petshack
- Bottle
- Food box
- Wheel? Mayb i'll get him one sooner
- Food (RC 32/34/36)?
- D.I.Y hide out place
- A container filled with sand for him to poop

Sorry. Im a noob.

my Pepper poops most frequently in the wheel.. does not poop in the litter tray... very occasionally, poops anywhere to her convenience... thinking of using fleece already... only 3 weeks and i finish Breeder Celect 6L... if i continue to use BC for the whole cage.... too costly T-T
