I currently using IBFX demo for some demo-ing new strategy. So far, their MT4 problem is doing well. The only minor problem is their spread during news is very high. BUt if you did not participate in any news trading, that doesn't a matter for you. |

bout the US$500 for fxcm, yeah, i wouldnt recommend anyone to do the same thing as well. i put in $500 just to have a feel of it first but anyway, provided that i dont do stupid things, $500 could bring me $100-$200 per month. I believe US news come out good than expected and it will helped the carries or the bull, especially the YEn crosses.Mean If USD news is thumbs up, i believe GJ will go up as well.
@bafukie If you do not mind, juz post up the chart together. Cause for me, i cant access to my MT4 during working hours. Juz wish some time there is some people to post up chart to let me know what is happening now. Hehe. Always try to memorize the chart during morning before i come out. Tiring... I juz reach home and found out the GU trigger my sell limit. Currently wif +90 pips. My TArget is 1.9610. Still waiting. I shall not try to interupt the trade. And juz let it to trail wif TSL. Shall stick to my discipline. Let it be what it be.

hm...i believe both EU and GU might have a better chance of reversing tonight...but the reversal wouldnt be too much, should be less than or around 100 pips

This still under floating. Seems like tonight i have my dinner already. Juz delete all of the SL and TP. Cause handle-ing over by manual now. Cause my CCI telling me is about time to go out. Feel like ranging area going take over GU. Feel uncomfort wif the situation.

4 hours & daily GU shows the pair is still free falling..see whether Gu will find support at 1.9635 or not.... still too early to predict..same like Eu see whether it will find support at 1.56 area... this is what i see

I only worry is it any bear trap for GU. GU muz not breach over 1.9691 and 1.9734 in order to make it bear. Once over 1.9734, then this shall be a bear trap for me.
Majorly. Still a bear trend for me. GJ still walking in the ranging area. Not sure where will it go. For me, it is under the middle of a channel. EDit: This might helpful for some newbies. Juz a trading methodology. I did not test it but i saw it is quite useful. Juz a simple and go trading method. But normeck, you don't use this lor. Stick to your methodology. Ya, you got it right. MOre specifically, if we having a channel or a trendline. But the price break thru the trendline and channel, making a false phenomenan whereby we called bull/bear trap whereby we thought it is going up or down. But in the fact, we get cheated. Haha

GU, like its usual trend, after a strong move in a certain direction, it reached to its consolidation level, and that's what's its doing now. By means of reversal, it doesnt necessarily means from bear turn to bull, just the end of the current trend. USDI showing a +0.5x% move, yet, we still seeing consolidation in most USD pairs. If i'm right, as stated earlier, USD pairs will make a reversal by tonight, that is now.
EU is moving back up after a 3 bars down, which were succeeded by a hanging man on the 3 bar up trend (6pm 1H Chart). Hm..already set my entries with TP and SL. Hopefully will only reach my TP (Already got my gain from GU). Its RSI has already confirmed the reversal. |

What a big mistake on GU. It goes back to 1.9788. Today drops for 100 pips. Then go back 100 pips. Haha...Really miss out good pips there. @.@.... How come i will juz miss it out............

i already get 25 pips from GU during it up again around 100 pips.. should enter earlier.. sighh.. buzy doing something else... nvm... 25 pips also good enoughh...only untung 25 dollar todayyy.. missed out alot of trend...

long and extended flag seems to form on both EU and GU. However, the flag is too long, but good possibility to both pairs to continue its bull. I in long GU now. wif profit +45. I not sure where will i get out. First TP is 1.9819. If can break thru. 2nd TP 1.9918.
I did not expect for a long term bull for now yet. IT is too soon to be happened for me. Actually laz week for me, GU is a bad market to trade wif. However this week it tends to be too good. Yesterday 115pips - 10pips = 105 pips. Today morning already closed one wif 6pips. Now one wif +54pips. The only problem is whether we trust the price will go so far in one trend or not? Bcoz laz week is a night mare for me in GU. I take a big courage to stay in the trade and nvr get out and wait until big pips. ( A bit crash wif my trading methodology). Yesterday lose 10pips due to a long position, regret why i did not keep that trade. I abit afraid due to the channel broken. But the channel broken tends to bcome a bear trap as i afraid before. Nice... EU moves juz as i expected. The way i look at it, 50 fibo on the daily is a nice support.. Currently on the green dollars

mph i think he is referring to the fibo/ s&r. If u look closely, first diagram shows 1 red and 2 blue candle stick to reach back the s&rline

mph some times.. price will move up alot without any reason... letting ppl to believe there is a movement. Those are some of the tricks big time players do to eat up the smaller players... triggering ur entry point and then go the other direction of the players trade.

wa.. good luck to u lor then.. i dunno bout EU, but for GU, throwbacks had jus happen... now its a down move.. whter its a strong move to lower or not, it depends on d close of 2-3 bars of 15min n also not forgetin d volume.. |

i always hated the last quarter of the hour...especially before 12am (London close)...anyway, hows your trading today? should be profiting from GU ya?

However, from what i see, it's within a rather weak support zone. Went to office juz now and juz reach home. Finally done wif all my works.
I set a sell limit for GU so SL and TSL.. It touches my TsL wif +6 pips. Today still not a bad day. Having 6+27+6 pips = 39 pips. What i worry on GU is the same like laz case before. Willl it bear trap again??? Laz trade i manage to avoid myself from getting in the bear trap... Will this time the same? |

Me currently using FXopen micro account. So far, still doing great. Bcoz it provide a micro account and local deposit / e-bullion and so on.
IT does depends on how much of your first capital. IF you wish to have around USD 20 or 30, i recommend broker like fxopen, liteforex. But be reminded they are not regulated. So, if you wish to open an account wif USD 300 or more. I might recommend you to get over some big broker and those who are regulated. |

Erm, for me, if they offer more choice on deposit fund. THen shall be a good thing for us as a trader.
Muz depends on your own actually. What is the condition so that the broker is bad? Bcoz every broker does have bad feed back. So you need to test your self in order to know more about it. Nvr try nvr know. Edit: I wait for Gu to reach 1.9587 area. then only i will test is it will bull like what i expect. If not, i shall continue the bear to fill in the blank i have. My thoughts:
GU: inside bar form for the second day in a row.. watch out for next day whether price breaks the inside bar. Either way it will be powerful. Looking at longer time frame H4 & Daily, price will retrace to my 38.2 fibo before moving south again. |

UJ already insane.. up n down every bar... UJ currently form dark cloud cover formation in TF 15...waiting for confirmation in the next bar but since it already tried alot of time to past the pivot still unsuccessful.. better wait actually it past already if not it will bounce back.. .. ...chickened out half way through profit eventually it hit the TP i set...but positions were closed...still better than nothing.hm...this made me reconsider my risk/reward ratio...i think i need to draw a candlestick chart on my trading...maybe can help to avoid being emotional ya lor...need huge confidence. too used to scalp small pips..suddenly change back to larger pips...scared to place positions...lol how was your EJ swing? wah..the rollover should be good also ya? |

lowyat82...no prob ler...we gain some we lose some. I m still 3 mths into this thing.....after 3 months...i m back to where i was when i 1st started with a few dollars profits :/ but one thing i noticed....its better to go live straight away then going on demo 1st. I have neva been on demo, therefore i guess i didnt get to get the shock of suddenly trading live. Go sikit sikit on live...i think its better on the heart, makes one more prepared, i feel la. (dun knock my head people...hehe)

hm...tomorrow US Trade Balance report coming out...might need to watch out during that hour...
weird...today US indices are moving up, but USID is slightly down. Maybe most index speculators cashed out today... anyway, lowyat...it's good to watch out on 168.94, or somewhere that area. It's the high on Jun 2007. Previous BO on this price rested firmly as support before heading back down. just my 2 cents.. |

yo..if u lookin for news signal trading time ,i might available starting on 28th june (monday)onwards...pm me for daily singal..currently im using 4 types of indicator which is stochastic, macd, rsi and bollinger bands..i cant assure everyday profit..but i think 5%-10% monthly would b enough as long as u never cross the lane of greedy..cheers =)

n 1 more thing u need to remember..to be a successful trader ,it requires 30% techinical analysis(indicator)..10% from news and 60% from ur luck..

Same here. I also emotional. TOo worry it will go reverse. SO get exit early. If i was holding it, should get 1 more +100 pips.
But relax bro, if we able to predict where the trend will end, then we shalll be millionaire by now. At least we in profit, we shall be happy. We trade because we like it, and we happy wif what we trade, so don't get stress up in order to maintain our discipline. |

Currently not holding any long term trade. This is from my own analyse.
GU unclear cloud still there, still under a ranging betwween two horizontal trendline/resistance. GJ i saw a point over kevler prediction on EW. But i shall wait for broken of 208.99 in order for me to bear bear again. |

wtf... todayyy.. i lose so muchhhh .... seekejappp naikkkk so many pipss... sekejapp downnn alot of pips like helll... i lost almost 70 dollar todayyyyyyy...aarghhh... everytimee i go inn must be lostt..i feel wanna kickk someoneee..

I this week finally end wif breakeven. Monday win kuat, Tuesday to Thursday lose abit abit wif many of trades. Friday win kuat. So, all end up wif breakeven. Only able to gain around USD 3 -- USD 10 i guess. my a week profit lost in single day... Nvr mind. We shall challenge again. Slwoly we can gain our strength and experience. I always wondering. I always convince people to doing better. But i always wonder is it i can doing better and better. I quite down yesterday and don't even want to talk much in LYN due to losses from Tues to Thurs, But today i gain a bit confidence back. We shall take more experience in this in order to do better. seems i failed to catch reversal.. lol.. learn my lesson... next week more careful.. must be clear headed..never lost my head like today..... todayyy dunno laa.. really no ong.. always rugiii... always close premature ..ye laaa... not even reach my tpp thenn.. sudden down gila gila... today all hell break loose.. displine gone.. rules also gone.. like headless chickennnn

The micro account lose -USD 0.36 (-36pips) in first week. Seems like new strategy did not work out. Need to configure again. Slowly and slowly. Hehe. Edit: Juz finish analyse back wif all my trades during this week. MIni account, only trades on GU 15m and 30m. Making money wif mid term strategy. All trades done wif mid term strategy. Seems like mid term strategy work out for this week. As you can see. MOnday graph go up. Then go down all the way during non-moving market Micro, trades GU EJ and GJ. Again the same case does happen. GJ all trades wif -ve pips. NOTE : IS ALL GJ. Seems like GJ eaten all my profit from GU . Seems like i gonna stop on GJ again. Came back on GJ and End wif losses in GJ again. oil price shot to $147.xx/barrel today, but fall short to $145.xx later. If oil price continues to raise, EU might just head towards 1.6000 next week...seems like the bear move of USD wasnt because of reports (reports came out OK), but on oil price.

You know what my MOM said to me juz now? She said she want to invest in blue chip share. GOSH, now i doing all the research and homework about stock market in order to help her. OMG. I not even having basic knowledge for out stock.
Y don't she give me the money she want to put in stock market to my FOREX account? Haha. But anyway, still need to do homework about blue chip stock in order to help her. |

I think your EJ in +pips already. You choose a good entry point. Added on July 12, 2008, 2:52 amSeldom see Friday nearby closing period, the market stil moving wif this much. The EJ juz climb slowly and slowly from the bottom of the channel to the top of the channel without any resistance. GJ also climbing since the dip juz now. OMG. GU also dropping slowly. Overall EJ mades the biggest suprise for me on this friday night. Edit: Congrats Lowyat82, you make a wise move today. I nvr take any long term trades on Friday usually. That y i miss out this move on EJ. Sad... But nvr mind. My short on GU profit - ing now due to the reversal. Muz wait until 5am in the morning. Congrats. I still have USD 46 to go back to my capital. Gonna chase it slowly. Wish to attempt it in 1 months time. It just matter of time, i believe on it.

Weekly from mphpopular.
GJ inside the two resistance, so i do nothing. GU two prediction, one yellow one pink. Still the same, break fibo61.8 i Long. No break i short again. EU again the same, 1.6000 challenge again. EJ still under channel. I have two channel in my graph. Not sure which will do. So shall wait after monday only i will trade EJ. Attached thumbnail(s)

hm..for GJ, it might go further south.
1) bear flag - the down move since late Jun 07 is the pole, now forming the end of the flag. 2) 2 dojis at the top of this larger retracement. 3) EW - wave 4 (smaller wave within wave 4, 5 waves have completed) hm..if i were to trade on GJ, it's better to draw a smaller fibo using the extreams on march 08 low and may 08 high. target to be set at 38.6 and 50.0 aih..just woke up ...later need to redraw my charts...was wondering how big of a gap will we see tommorow |

just done looking at EU. The yellow lines, like usual, are the Gann retracement. The blue lines are Fibo Channels. Chances of getting into the 1.00/0.618 channel is rather slim, still possible. Depending on the oil price on Monday, I'll go long once it broke through the upper Gann retracement at 1.5950, but will be cautious at 1.9600..the price would/might bounce off at the 1.618 channel resistant

hm..just to look at the oil price a little. seems like at the last hours of friday market, it formed a bear flag after a much bearish reversal. Though the flag is considerably long compared to the pole...the candle sticks on the flag doesnt look bullish at all. So, if this is a successful bear flag, meaning that on monday, oil price will get back down. That would ease up a little on the financial market. With thursday and friday's down move of most stocks, maybe can see S&P500, NASDAQ, DJI go up a little, along with USDI.
with the current oil price at 144.03, good chance it'll head back to 145.00 first. Perhaps then, we'll see a continuation bear move on the crude oil, and a more bullish on US dallor. Attached thumbnail(s)

My broker wont auto close my position. I think it might be some faulty error? Or some human error? My longest position is up to a weeek or even more. Is it there is something like "good until" when you place your order? Or post some printscrrenn when you try to place order so that we can give a hand

wodenus, erm, mine also same as Mph, wont auto close. Got such thing one meh? Can rollover one ma thats y they charge u interest for short positions and give u interest for long.
Have you mistaken the rollover charges as u must close your position within the day?? |

My both real and demo account works good, broker nvr stop out my trades. You let me know which broker first, as i know, there is some broker, when you put a trade, they got put condition such as "good until , close at ", this kind of condition stuff. |

wow...just as expected..uber gap in UJ, EU and GU. EU eventually did turn back south. the train might have left, but the bus is still there
summary: EU, GU - short UJ - long identify the R/S for entry, wait for the small correction to be over first. that is, only if there's nothing else happening to the oil price, again. hopefully tonight the oil price wont get fried up again... |

Edit: Sometime i found out myself veryfunny. This is the scenario: I open 1 long position on both my mini and micro account. Mini account using mid term approach. While micro using long term approach. Mini account. The trade close wif -44 pips due to touch of my SL. Micro account. The trade currently still profit wif +32 pips. Now i loss -USD 4.4 in my mini. Edit: got your point about the H&S. Note down first. Means right shoulder muz be broken in order for the whole H&S to be broken. Reason why i always don't want close position and rather let it to touch my adjusted SL is wish i could chase all the trend out. Means the whole UT or DT i can makan all. But sometimes it quite sad bcoz, why we did not take 20pips but only take 2 pips profit. Haha, lowyat, got anyway to console myself from being sad in this kind of cases? This is somethingthat many have been waiting for so long. EU break 1.6 (but still not close yet). GU break 1.9977... GJ still the same right? Edit: @maldiniho Dont use that script. Got bug inside, i juz tessted it in my house. And juz try to compile in mt4. Got bug, just delete it first, i will come up will correct one tomoro. got damn it...oil price struck back to 145....anyone has any idea where to TP on EU above 1.6000??? 145 resistant might not hold...before US market open, USDI already fall -0.557...

haha....ODL seems to be a good broker, but it has very limited historical data. GCI however, has a larger historical data, but it lack of tools, very lack of. ODL requires $300, while GCI requires $2000. However, must remember that commodity prices move very big...oil can move 100 pips (dunno what term they use) per hour. Like just now, oil price dropped 1000 pips in les than 4 hours..lol...really crazy...i think dont have $20k as capital also difficult..

For scalp : - Once you drag it into your chart, it will directly buy and sell together wif the SL and TP without asking confirmation "OK" from you. For without scalp :- Once you drag it into your chart, it will directly buy and sell together wif the SL and TP and asking confirmation "OK" from you. For scalping, i understand that, you always nid to act fast, so maybe you want to jimat the time of clicking OK. Third, how to change default value. As you can see for the scripts wif scalp, you must learn how to change the SL TP and LOTS to suit your case, juz double click it, and it will open under metaquotes, so juz change the variable and save it. (AS shown in picture below) Note / Risk disclaimer: 1) Plz try it a few times in demo so that you understand how's it work out. 2) No risk should be taken by author. 3) Plz report back if there is any bug. 4) I post over the .mq4 file which is the set file for your convenience, plz use it widely. You may change the variable and all the stuff according to your taste. Lazly, plz at least let me know who have downloaded it or juz simply a TQ. in all major pair other than EUR/GBP, most 0.1lot (10k) 1 pip = ~$1 (bout $0.98 for UJ). EG 1 pip = +-$2
Added on July 16, 2008, 4:18 pmdamn it...everytime when a position got opened, i got so paranoid and closed it after getting few pips..was shorting on UJ just now..8pips i closed already...if let it just alone..should have already hit my TP at 30 pips...damn it... should i walk away, or should i stay? Everyone will have different drawing and indi. That why we share over here. Bcoz we might miss out some important point. So, we can get the clue here and be think twice before enter trades.
Or, we might miss out opportunity due to heavy load of works, is kind of refreshment over here. |

Usually, i only willl drag buy script into chart and then drag sell script into chart oh... Not really dunno whether i can do it or not.... Edit: @normeck, is for you only. Haha, that why i go try do the script. Juz correct me if i'm wrong, you want a script whereby can help you LONG 10 trades with each 0.10 lots. I tried to do the script, but problem occurs when this happen. Example: I drag the script into chart by the price 1.2020 and put 10 orders. But the script will only enter around 4 to 5 trades, bcoz the price is keep moving. Once the price go to 1.2021, the scripts will get cancelled. So, I think i really cant do it. Sorry ya... Try out in many ways but still cant manage to do it. Dunno why so difficult for this one.. Edit: Again, completely fail. I try to add something like, if the price changes in 3pips, the orders still can be taken, but dunno why, compiling error. Tak jadi again... zzz not enough clever yet. Mostly is like this one. You use local bank to deposit. Then mostly they will ask you to use back same method to withdraw as well.
Ya, you need utilities bill for sure. Is to ensure your information is correct and so on. Credit card is NOT a must in broker. |

for now im still floating -44usd..and it will not make any profit....
IF GJ go up more...then hedging will come into that part.... IF open buy = u got some profit...then... Currently only 1 of your position is in +ve pips which the another 2 still in -ve territory. to me there is no real trend for us small trader....it could be down trend on weekly chart then up trend on daily chart then maybe down trend again on 4h chartNow is based on your prediction, if the trades was taken under your prediction and you believe it will still go bear, so start worry for a few +pips while you can stand there and see your acc floating wif -ve big pips. But you muz understand the risk and profit. That means, your mind now is clear and under your charts, you saw really bear trend, there is no reason for you to exit market now. So if this is the case, juz carry on it. like normeck trade from positif to negative? -4xx somemore? then today suddenly +1x again? so thats bull or bear trend? signal provider is depends on the company. If the company provide a good signal, then you're safe. I've started to notice 1 or 2 signal provider company since half year ago. But as i notice, they start wif a good profit margin. But when times goes for half year, their performance keep dropping without any reason.
Juz my 2cents. Anyway, you can give it a try if you found it profitable for you. Juz make sure it wont cause you for around USD200 or something crazy. |

Wait ya, i now google-ing about it and looking thru the site. This is some opinion. If you're trading on USD 1 per pips. That means they must at least provide you wif one month +99pips in order to cover the expenses.
Firstly, can they provide 99 pips per month? Second, your equity can stand for their DD? I will go thru the site now and reply over here by tonight, cause now wan go take dinner. This is my first time trying out a demo account.. There are a fews things that I do not quite understand.. For the bar on the lower part of the graph, where its shows S/L, T/P, Price, Profit.. 1. What does S/L means? 2. Also what does T/P stands for? 3. Price is refers to the buy/sell price? 4. Profit - why is it showing a negative value? Is it means trading at a loss? 5. The graph is there any way to analyze it? Thanks a lot guys.. 
And also please help me with this one.. 1. What does volume refers to? 2. What is a stop loss and take profit? 3. Any difference besides selecting instant execution for the Type? 4. And what does enable maximum deviation from quoted price means?

Ya, i thinking on it as well. Seems like 4H TF works better for the short term approach. I have been testing it again and again, found out 5m works the worse, 15m still OK. 30m still in testing. 4H confirm is OK, wif the condition, you must know when to cut loss. Daily nvr try, cause too long to wait.
Still hunting around. Haha |

Erm, I also know 5m many false signal. I have been facing trouble whereby i cant set a proper SL and follows it. I love 15m and 5m bcoz i can trade oftenly. But the same happens : die oftenly as well.
Currently trying to build up my patient by only looking on 15m TF. I skip out the 5m. If 15m still cannot, i shall jump to 30m and keep on jumping until 4H... 4H is too less signal for me. 1H still quite acceptable for me, whereby i trying GJ 1H on demo now. Real account still using 15m. Edit: Currently hunting for a good entry for GU and EJ. Still hunting a good entry. Still havent get it yet. Edit: This is the smallest pips gain i get from my Long Term strategy. 2 pips. OMG. 2pips? I risking 70pips to get 2 pips. Really unbelievable. But at least still got 2 pips. Still happy abit. Firstly,plz refer the Credit card problem to credit card thread, so as debit card.
As I can see, most of the credit card does no problem in withdraw-ing and deposit-ing. If not, you can choose to transfer money thru TT. Does not really heard before that any credit card cannot withdraw and deposit. ONly debit card will face problem in deposit and withdraw due to recognition. If you able to deposit, then it wont facing much problem in withdraw-ing. Even you face the problem in withdraw, you can always request them by e-mail-ing them to withdraw to another account. |

For me GJ is still inside the range. I cant see any clear cloud yet. GJ keep on back to this range for what, i also not sure. Haha, luckily i stopped out trading GJ. safe for me.

Haha.i only manage to get 2 pips from GJ. SO scary GJ. already too long not trading on GJ. Now currently in GU wif +60pips. But the most scary case is, i yesterday lose GU 80pips. GOne into wrong ways and hit my SL.

U understand our small-jeff well. It does the same for me, i yesterday lose until cry, 80pips, the price movement make me direct blur in my main primarily GU. But now i recovering. 1st acc --> yesterday lose 93pips, now on floating +117 2nd acc--> yesterday lose 117pips, now on floating +88 @billytong Congrates, you made it again. There is more than 100pips over there for the EU juz now |

Ya, actually i did the same, when i was lose, i seldom appear to analysis much, but i still will be around to help those new one. Juz wish can help them up. I on hold the GU for my whole night already. Now is waiting time to close it out... Still sitting here and waiting...
Actually what i currently trying to do is, i exit all my chart based on 5m and 1m. I only use my mid term strategy and long term one. Kinda like sit here and wait. I've been sit infront my PC since 5 in the evening, and did all the reading jobs and just waiting for chance. Now i wanna learn patience, for me, if i keep hunting for chance to trade, i mostly will get hurt wif all loses cause i did not follow my trading method ( i will keep on persuade my self and say, this is the entry faz faz go in). So now, i sit and wait for my Long term and mid term methodo to tell me buy and sell. I only monitor 3pairs, tat why kinda like waiting. Still GU is still my primarily and i monitor it from 30m chart... Hunt for those solid signal only. I this year challenge is to recover my account, and if i able to generate any profit, then that means i already doing alot better than i expect.
