Nice, let see if we can organize a mini-teh tarik session.

Saw the retracement in GU and enter long. Got to rush back home so only pocketted 20pips.

Came back home and then saw it shot up by 70 pips more. Well at least I am positive after a long lay off.

Also profitted 15 pips from EU from the retracment but close it when it can't go above today high. Cool.

Oil price is going lower. Could this bring EU lower than today low?

Can the news later be discounted since it might already be factored in by the traders?

Yes, after the US news, both oil and gold going down. EU went down as well. Should have hold my original short at 1.4700! Well reenter after the news but lost those pips in between. Still positive and move my SL to BE now.

That sounds like the bounce off the 20 EMA of EU? What's your TP level? S2?

Fluctuating of oil and gold price is really driving EU direction for now. Looks like it has difficulty in breaking 1.4700 resistance level. Now it is back to the opening price for the day. Well this could be a long day if one should scalp below the resistance level.

Both oil and gold price shot up together and EU go up too. Looks like it might bounce at daily R1 resistance level. Only if oil price don't go any higher after it hit a high of 116.675. Gold is also touching 820.7. Is that a sign that EU retracement will much higher?

Weekly pivot is at 1.4811. I think it needs to break that in order to any higher.

No news yet EU fall through the daily pivot. Will it touches 1.4700 support level again? Based on average daily movement it might fall through that level and reached at least daily S1.

Still holding my short.

It touches 1.4695 briefly and than bounce up.

Seeing oil and gold are down, hopefully it will break through and make me a happy man.

Hmm, I have the opposite thought. Oil inventories is forecast to be positive so I thought this might bring EU down. I think it is retracing higher now pending the next down move.

Get MT4 platform fro WHC Trader. It has most of the indices.

Just as I thought it would. Oil and Gold plunge taking EU with it. Now it has just pass daily S1. Let see whether it has the strength to reach S2.

UJ broke the right shoulder line and heading south. Let see if it will break daily S3.

Today movement of EU doesn't correlate with oil and gold?

Oil is up but EU went down and now rebounce from daily pivot.

For mini-lot, 5 lot at 3% risk required at least 8K in your account. At 5% risk, you still need 5K in your balance. I really admire your posture every time you post your trade.

Anyway, great results. I got in quite late but still get 50 pips for 1 lot.

Added on August 22, 2008, 12:35 amMind to share how you see that? Oil and gold are retracing from their high tonight. The RSI on all timeframe below 4H are pointing down. If it break 1.49 then it might reach the previous high and form a double top. Would that be a good place to short?

I have shorted after it bounce off the highest high today and looking at retracement to 61.8% with a very tight stop (just above 1.49). Let see if this work out.

No answering your question directly but I have use Oanda for demo trading before and I don't really like the web-based platform. I still prefer MT4 platform. I am using InterbankFX and fund deposit is via TT though Maybank2u which is very convenient.

Anyway, all the best to your venture into forex.
