i also get it from Yeoh vet... My 3GP fully recover after consult there...

er... PLC at ikano does have spray for mites n lices... cost u about RM25... i just bought it yesterday.... grab it before finish stock...

i wan 2 faint liao.. smtg else i find out in my gp skin while i was checking her fur.. in her neck and her body got smtg like pimples dry skin. can really see she kept shreking and moving...

wht is wrong wit her i wanna cry liao lor....

frm cheras 2 tmn megah far wei.... no car have 2 use public transport. i dont knw hw serious is my gp nw.. so i dnt dare 2 use anything except for vaseline.

does ivermectin sold in any pet shop? or jst vets?

It sounds very serious. It also could be that yur poor GP is allergic to the medication you are giving it.

Since it's that serious already, all the more reason you should bring to a good vet. It's dangerous to self-medicate because wat we think might be the problem may actually not be the problem. In fact, what you're giving may actually be making the problem worse (I'm not sure but it's possible).

It's like a person. Got skin rashes you just get some allergy cream for him. You keep giving him cream. Then pimple like spots began appearing. The proper thing to do is to bring to a doctor, because a doctor can run tests and perscribe the right medicine for that person.

You are not a vet and may not be giving the right treatment for your piggy. If you truly love your GP, find means and ways to get it to a good vet.

I'm sorry but I still think it's the best way.

wanna share wif u all bout one kid in icu bcoz the infection of small animal..im not sure it is from hamster, or gp or else..
last tuesday me melawat my cousin in hukm..ade seorg budak sebelah my cousin koma jugak,..n i ask her family..they said dat the children got infection from animal..but i dunno why..

its true dat small animal akan bagi any kritikal penyakit kepada budak2 ??

it depends. yeah some animal can. mostly furry animals. due to the fur which causes macam macam penyakit. some other pets also.

I dunno. From wat I know, most infectious diseases are actually transfered from cats, dogs or birds. Guinea pigs have ring worms la. Turtles and Tortoises has salmonella.

Unless you're talkng about plague or stuff like that from sewer rats and mice (plague is a serious disease that causes death) I don't know any serious disease that comes from small animals that can be transfered to humans.

But our house small animals like hamsters and guinea pigs don't usually have these viruses. I've been bitten by hamsters and guinea pigs and I didn't get sick lar.

Maybe that boy is seriously allergic to certain animals.... normally our small pets wont cause us any fatal illness.

owh..ok..thanks..i risau... coz sometimes i bring my gp going back to jb..i got 2 sister age 4 n 2 years old..they like to play wif my gp..i afraid dat gp also have that kind of infection..

Today saw one cutie in petshop, can't resist and bought her back. She looks a bit like one of my deceased GP, and the shop listed her as Abby. But I think she is a mixed not a pure Abby. Her fur looks longer and fluffier than a pure Abby. Still very young...like just 2 weeks old.
