Overdrive is still within the warranty, so its covered.

Rivatuner is useful to go beyond the oc limits in CCC, u can try if you want to go higher.

Thanks for the info.

aiya this 1 i noe de... but i need to noe the default memory voltage biggrin.gif... core voltage defaults at around 1v lidet, 1.084v n so on... bumping to 1.21v is considered the limit with a reference cooler... but my temp i can say is quite low, so shudnt be a prob here biggrin.gif

btw uzairi, im not sure if that pic can be used for my asus 4850 or not @@... havent tried since i dun have the time and i forgot to take ati winflash home hahaha... the vmod in da pic is reference card... not sure if mine is reference card or not @@

That is for reference card design.

To do the voltmod the most crucial thing is the DMM, why not check the stock voltage yourself ?

Since after the mod the volts would increase and you need to monitor them in order to avoid any mishap like overvolting it too much and risk frying it.

Try using the Catalyst Control Center's function Overdrive and OC from there. Any problems please share with us here. smile.gif

What tools/software did you use to overclock and test the stability ?

found the stock voltage for core... but not for mem haha... i dun even noe which part of the card to monitor using voltmeter haihhhhhhh my card is totally different than reference card @@

my card managed 750mhz without vmod and bios tweaking @ 1.046v, but wanna go 800 core, even when i put 1.25v with bios tweaking, still got artifacts T_T... guess really need to do pencil mod haha

The page that i gave you show the measuring points smile.gif

Bios vmod tops out at 1.2v and u need to put 1.158v at the bios so that it would detect and use 1.2v
