having this card, easily oc'able to 750 core , mem 1100 seems to be the limit haha

isit stabil if clock to 750 1100?

try stress it wt furmark & c whether its stable or not...

Hey rlhc17, Here is a heads up. You got it backwards the GPUZ says your @8X. You were suppose to put the Graphics card in the lower master pcie1 and the DCCFX-P2 in the upper slave pcie2 Than GPUZ will read @16x and you will then benifit from the paddle card. I was able to push my Sapphire 4850 to 700/1120 ..

but seem got some artifact in furmark stresstest .. XD
btw, my temperature still maintain below 49c .. thx to my Artic accelero twin turbo cooling ^^

im running on Palit Sonic HD4850;

when i OC it 730Mhz core, 1050Mhz mem

then play games (such as GTA4 or other 3D games) after some time, d screen will blackout, then VPU recover comes up n then my desktop turn into very ugly 8 bit 640x480, then says cant detect my graphics card

i hav 2 reboot then only can play games again

if running on 725Mhz, 1035Mhz mem its sooo stable can play for many many hrs

I dunno if its bcoz of hot temp? or insufficient power? or my card got prob?

using stock cooler fan runs on 85%(sonic cooler ok not reference) n juice from Enermax FMAII 460W

the 725 is the max ur card can go as when u go to 730 the vpu recover error came out.

do vmod and increase voltage if u wan more... or u can buy my card, 750 core no sweat 790 oso can but artifacts coming, recommended increase voltage for stable gameplay... mem clock however 1050 optimum, anymore will cause artifacts

Mine maxed out at 725/1125 with the 1.158v bios vmod.

HELP!!! i tried the instructions on bios vmod (using latest RBE + winflash), then when i restart the card wont display anything, OMG!!!!

i cant even boot up bios now! shit.... my rig specs can refer to my siggy

dats y... its not for noobies to play around... does your mobo have 2 pcie slot? get another card, put the problematic card in the 2nd slot, and use rbe and winflash to flash back default bios for ur 4850... and take this as a lesson

edit: must blame OC4/3 oso, u recommended him soft vmod
