especially 9.++ above...
so better use d old style...hehee

Both my 4850 are working fine on both 8.x and 9.x version but not that accurate.

OC through flashing bios is the best.. tongue.gif

Later ur card died, hard to rma coz they might check your bios too. If the stock clock is touched, then no rma for you tongue.gif If got burn mark u can say card overheated tongue.gif

QUOTE(iBenQ @ Mar 26 2009, 09:49 AM)
i dont really trust CCC... auto tune stable but 3dmark fail... my advise try auto tune 1st, then test on 3dmark vantage to c whether stable or not

That is for starters to oc bro tongue.gif

So now, if I used only my ATI Overdrive tools to overclock and my card died, is it hard to rma also? How about using Rivatuner?
Do anybody know anything about this?

dun have yet, but not planning on changing soon, since my idle temp is below 40c now, 38~40c, load not even 60c biggrin.gif

btw, anyone mind sharing their 4850 3dmark vantage score @ 750mhz core, 1050mhz mem??, mine not as high as expected, 8k on P, 5k on H... if i recall clearly, b4 i sent my card for rma, stock clock oso can get 6k+ @@, but my stock got me 5.5k T_T

Overdrive is still within the warranty, so its covered.

Rivatuner is useful to go beyond the oc limits in CCC, u can try if you want to go higher.
