After the bios vmod you should be able to run it at 700/1000 at least.

Yes, 8.7 now as 8.8 are giving lots of problems to 4850 based cards.

What OS ? Clean install ?

Without clean install you wont notice it coz you are still using the 8.7's files smile.gif

After uninstalling the 8.7, i use Driverheaven's Driver Cleaner Pro to clean the files. Then i restart the pc and install the 8.8 and it says that i dont have supported card. This issue are already discussed all over the net so i guess its not new anymore. Just to share with you guys..

The fact is that ati mislinked the driver.. nod.gif

Running at higher volts would make the pwm hotter than usual, try to put some ramsinks at the pwm and ramsink too if u plan to clock the rams.

Yes, I've increased the vGPU to 1.2v on the MSI bios
670/993, stock vGPU & 1.2v - no crashes in 3DMark06
675/993, 680/993, 670/1000, 680/1000, stock vGPU & 1.2v - crashes in "dragon" test
I think it's due heat issue using stock cooler or PSU draw not enuf juice. sweat.gif

Aside from psu and new cooler, dont forget to slap on some ramsink on the rams and the vrms.
