you need to get permit for your cat to enter Sarawak, i think u need to get it from jabatan haiwan in sarawak also. because you cross the "sempadan" already. then you need to bring cat for medical check up, just go to jabatan haiwan - the goverment one... cheaper.. then tell them that your cat need to travel. they may give some tips on it.

then when you purchase your MAS ticket, you need to tell them that you have animal onboard. so they know what to do. MAS will charge per KG for animal... you must have your own carrier and everything.

the best is to get 2 kitten from the same age they grew up together, and getting to know more about both together.

male vs. male is not a good sign, but if you get 2 male cat when they are young, 50% chances you get 2 male good friends.

male vs. female is 50 - 50. some female can be very fears. some not. so this is depends on luck.

the best for me, if you want 2 or more cats, get them since kitten with the same age.

if you have adult cat now, and you want another male cat, try to get younger male cat. but don't get older or the same age male cat with yours now. else 80% you get world war III in your house eheheheheh.

you can also get female cat.. if you do not have the intention to breed... spay/neuter them... they can be very good and tame.

1. apply export permit from jabatan haiwan
2. apply import permit jabatan haiwan kuching
3. Health certificate from vet...to show your cat is healthy. Enough vaccine since born. you need to check with jabatan haiwan about this health certificate.. i don't think it will be so expense.. they maybe need to check you cat vaccine book and vets history. if you cat ever go to a vet, ask that vet to photo copy your cat medical history. then bring it to jabatan haiwan and show them.
4. when you buy your MAS ticket, during the reservation you need to inform the counter that you have livestock (cat) with you.
5. during the day you fly, bring along the cat to the check in counter. lock your the carrier....
6. they said RM8.10 per kg... so if you cat is 5kg, so you need to pay 5kg x RM8.10 for his/her ticket
7. once you arrive at your destination, someone will let you know about your cat, sometimes they check on the permit, sometimes they don't do it. since they check earlier in KL. but im pretty sure sarawak will check the permit, because its a very strict states
8. within malaysia NO QUARANTINE (u need to double check this again).

Yep all cats food increase. RC, Iams, Proformance, SP, other brands too. That's the reality last time i always get my Proformance at the pet shop and vet in taman warisan (can't remember the name place, warisan or something), its look like food court too.

RC, IAMS, SP are all the same. unless if Orijen and Innova Evo.. then there's different.

deworm start at the age of 6 weeks, then 8 week, then 12 weeks.. after that you can choose to go for every 3 or 6 months.

Vaccine start at the age of 2 month old and 3 months old. after that follow by one time a year.

young kitten is easy to teach... its very hard to train the adult to behave.

neuter or spay will not change the number one characteristic - which is territory protection. even neutered female will smack down un-neutered female.

even if you spay the male, they will still hunt down other male.

that is the reason why you need to know the genetic. bad behavior genetic is very hard to maintain.

one of my female neutered cat never like other cats. the only cats she can be with is her own brother and the other 2 adult that she saw and be with when she grew up.

one of my male spayed cat is very good with other cat, but hate so much another male spayed cat. see, both of them are spayed and they still behave like slapping each other. they have been together in a house almost 1 year now. and believe it or not, i can never tell if they become BFF or not. seem like they don't like each other till death lucky the other one, will surrender if things getting bad.

if one cat is a fighter, and other one is a surrender = then this will reduce fight.

if you have both fighter, then very hard lah eheheheh.. the never ending story.

anyway Fight to be hero is what animal do anyway. not even cat, even monkey will fight over territory.

my oldest cat which is 4 years old is a good boy. he never hiss at any cat. and another female mix persian age 2 years old behave very good. Proven that, persian breed will always produce good behavior. Please don't try this at home

after deep study about this fighting cats, i found out both the background comes from a fighter cat types.

if you happened want to breed this type of cats, better stop doing it. after research and study, i found out that in 1 litter, there will be genetic follower. it will be worst if both father and mother has behavior problem matters.

in cattery, breeder will neutered/spayed their breed cat in order to stop producing bad behavior cat which may lead to un-perfect show cat.

the best way are:
- get to know your cat is he/she ever meet other cat? if NO - you better start introducing him/her to practice meeting other cats. don't jump to the conclusion of getting it now and bring it straight home.
- second, if you plan to adopt a cat from friends, try bring your cat to your friends house for first introduction. see how your cat works with other cat. beside you can see the background of that cat.

getting 2 or more cats together took a long time. i success in making some of my cat become BFF, some will never be like what i want it to be but im stil lucky that in a fight there will always be white flag of surrender sign. so it stop instantly

so be patient, try to get younger cat better.

very hight percentage people successful making 2 or more cats become BFF.
small percentage fail, to make one.

so then, get to know your cat is a better way. if you know he/she is a type that do not like strangers... better don't try it a home, because you may have a new cat that feel like living in prison with gangster

my cats go out sometimes only, when i'm with them, with the harness. so kesian the strays and outdoor cat with that infection right... that's why i always tell my cats that they are so lucky to be inside the house, don't complaint too much for me not letting them out ehehehe..
