is deutsche telekom a fast server?

i downloaded a 50mb file, and the speed was 60.000kb/sec . for me it was fast and im not a premium user too..
*
Well you can try, Telia Sonera or Global Crossing, 120+kbs i get max for free user.

Guys i have a few questions, i might buy a RS account soon, what's the maximum speed you ever get from RS for premium user under the 2Mbps TMNet package?

Will TMNet slowed your speed if you download excessively?

The thing about using Internet at Uni is to avoid complaint. Once students starts to complain to the Uni management that the internet is slow, or even worse pin point to u, IT technician will have to do some work, including blocking RS or issue ban on RS.

I guess it's ok as long your download didn't cause other student's internet to slow down.

BTW, I really wonder what's the speed will be like if u download only 1 files using download manager? Will u get full speed of 4M or 10M on that download?

Hmm, i tested the other day, RS only give me bout 400-500 KBytes/s on single download, with 10 connections per file
anyway, my download speed is just a small part of the available bandwith in MMU
and I don't like hog the speed like tat 24 hours, if like tat 10 premium acc also not enuff....
calculating from tat speed, 24 hours i theoretically can download bout 335GBytes of data...HDD also not enuff le
