Hey guys, my boyfriend was playing with Roche the other day. I asked him to train her to "stand" with the treats. But when she smelled the treat, she started doing crazy stunts. Not so much as "stand". She started HANGING.

I dunno wanna be angry with her or wat. At the end I decided her stunts were really dangerous so banned it dy. No more hanging. But took a few pictures for memory. Look at my crazy girl.

P/S: I all the pictures, my Roche is hanging on her own. My boyfriend is not holding on to her in any way but just letting her hang her leg there.

I was scared she'll dislocate her leg le. This girl... When tempt her with treat underneath, she will hang herself and try to grab the treat. That greedy.

I tink my hamster is sick..

I duno.. I got 3 hamster.. All seems to be active.. but the 1 is just so not active which just keep lying at the corner of the cage.. Why ar??

Sleeping or staying awake?

my sugar also same.. she likes to hang herself at the top of the cage.. when i gave her treats at this time, she will
1. use 1 hand to hang and the other hand grab treats from me and stuff into her mouth OR

2.use her legs to hang and grab treats from me

Is staying awake.. The eyes is open and still breathing.. but just not so active and been laying down there since yesterday..

What type of hamsters are they?
Did you see any wounds?

Since yesterday? OMG! Better bring it do the vet asap.. Is he/she eating?

do check the poo to see if watery or normal OR look at the butt see watery or dry

If i not mistaken, They are Syrian Hamster.. Last time i got alot, but some die already..

Wound i dun tink got.. cause this is the 1st time happening to him..

Yesterday he got makan, but after eat, he will lay down there.. He wont play like the rest of the hamster.. That why i feel weird..

So i try ask u all see what can i do?

He hardly drink water also..

I cant take him to the pet shop because i have college from morning till evening and it seems like it hard to find a 24hrs pet shop here..

Syrians are solitary hamsters. Did you place them together? If no wounds, the only solution is to consult a vet

Sometimes it's like really funny cuz hamsters act like sugar gliders.

@snoopie: If they are syrian hamsters, you should not keep them together. They are solitary and forcing them to stay together is making them feel stressed. How about taking out your hamster and putting him in isolation. Give it lots of food and water and fresh. As soon as you can, bring to a vet.

Yeah.. I place them all together.. I have do that for over years.. They seem nothing also.. I dont have so many places to place them individual.. So i bought a cage and out everything inside and place them together..

For so long, i didnt see anything happen.. I wash the cage and change the brown color thing every week..

Water and food is fully refill.. But i see the others seem to be ok, oni just 1 hamster.. I take him out and he just wouldnt run around.. Just stay there and walk abit..

maybe he is stress out or something.. dont play play.. an over-stress hamster can cause wet tail
