He bought 2 card,but one of it has problem.So need send to shop.I think can get 1-1 d since its less than 2 weeks.

i back from kl at 12am last nite, quick install it. couldnt detect cf. thought of driver issue, so download the hotfix 8.6 .. the internet was slow like snail.. so i watched euro until i fell asleep.. woke up this morning, try the card one by one and yes, definitely one card is back to heaven (or should i say hell? )
i am currently at my office, later will call the shop and ask for replacement.

it's not bcoz of it is sapphire. i've been using around 7 sapphire cards before, which is the 2nd most after HIS.. and the only gfx that went faulty when in my hand is the 7900gtx from leadtek.. (sorry my error before saying i never had faulty gfx).. but the issue with the gtx was common at that time..

darnn....ddr5...my ddr3 card felt so left behind....

powercolor and gecube failed me b4, but sapphire not

nice price for 4870, but almost 50% more than 4850 for 20-30% different. suited for those who need better fps on larger screen. I already saw same FPS from 1600x1200 to 1900x1200 lolz. CPU bottlenecking edi la. 4870>GTX260 anyhow. So ATI wins!

those cooler only cool the GPU only right?
so u need another 8 x ramsink and 4 PWM heatsink to cool the card, right??

Added on June 27, 2008, 2:05 pmfor 4850. no ramsink one. so the chpiset really hot.
but if u apply ramsink. then later u need to instal back the stock cooler and resell. difficult to tear out also.
