for 4850. no ramsink one. so the chpiset really hot.
but if u apply ramsink. then later u need to instal back the stock cooler and resell. difficult to tear out also.
*
haha, just use a little bit of force to tear those ramsink from the ram chips

gc's pcb position is upside-down in BTX form.
so the ramsinks will be in opposite direction of normal ATX form.

will post some results later crysis/cod4/age of conan/world in conflict( need to collect my copy from mid valley later)

also my personal fav... warcraft 3.. gaming on dota map after 1 hour 30 mins tongue.gif.. thats a lot of creeps..

all ramsinks same larr..

just that i have some swiftech ram sinks available..

the idea of ram sinks is to let each mem chip dissipate heat individually rather than a collective.

not normal double tape but a thermal tape,
it can conduct heat compared to double tape

omfg @ 4800 series !!! even the larrabee not out yet, they already manage to render ray-tracing !!

Watch out, Larrabee: Radeon 4800 supports a 100% ray-traced pipeline using DirectX 9 : http://www.tgdaily.com/content/view/38145/135/
QUOTE
San Francisco (CA) – It appears that the buzz about 3D graphics has been focused on a feature that is not even integrate din today’s games – ray-tracing. Intel is beating the RT drum for its upcoming cGPU, which is still 18 months away. But it appears that Intel may be defeated in its own game, as AMD’s graphics chips are supporting a 100% ray-traced pipeline, TG Daily learned.

nice price for 4870, but almost 50% more than 4850 for 20-30% different. suited for those who need better fps on larger screen.

screws the %.
it blurs ur thoughts. tongue.gif

when gecube hd4870 @ rm930,
that's simply no brainer to add 300 more from hd4850.

price gap between both is only within 300.
