today eat dinner at The Bird at Menjalara. It was opened by a local celebrity. The food ain't bad and quite reasonable too. The food are more towards nyonya style and the interior/surrounding are quite retro feel.

QUOTE(december88 @ Jun 29 2008, 07:18 PM) Restaurant Saigong, Medan Putra Business Center in Bandar Menjelara Kepong. Always FULL AT NIGHT especially at weekend. sai gong ok la... price preety reasonable.been there countless time. good food at reasonable price. only complain is that u've to wait so long to get ur food serve, the more you order the more you wait, because they prepare all the food you order at 1 go. NON-HALAL btw. Link down. http://www.foodlah.com/2007/11/17/restaurant-sai-gong-2/ And also i think there's one crab shop, not sure abt the name, but i know it's so popular and always full also, until they take the road/parking space to set up tables for customers. will update when i'm back in Malaysia. cheers guys. i like d 1 chinese restaurant opposite ninja turtle cybercafe (cant remember the name la), too bad it already closed, now turn into video arcade.. I used to go there makan malam on sundays and visit pasar malam later. |

If you really want to eat good nasi lemak, I suggest you goto KIP. The corner lot behind Hong Leong Bank there got better nasi lemak than the one in Wai Sik Kai, but not halal one. Its also way cheaper as well. Only available on noon, working days. BTW, if you cant eat spicy things, then dont try it.
If you want to eat tasty Fried Kueh Tiaw then goto Aman Puri. The corner lot of How Fook, the old couple stall is pretty good. This post has been edited by andrekua: Aug 24 2008, 06:11 PM |
