i tried this last night. OK OK lah, at least the food price is reasonable for a Japanese restaurant

Tried Yip Kee wantan mee for lunch, quite nice. but the soup seems to be laden with loads of MSG, thirsty like hell after that

everytime go also different taste. it must be your lucky day if it suits u...

ouhh this place i like to go. cheap but they give big serving.

This chinese reataurant is at the Kepong/Selayang area after the FRIM junction maybe another 2 junctions from Kepong, take a right turn about 200m; serves genuine TeohChew ala carte & price also very reasonable. Maybe some ppl hear also familiar with this restaurant.

Went to Shiang Hee Restaurant last weekend @ Manjalara. All the restaurants there were packed! No kidding!

It took like 50 minutes for our food to arrive but no regrets.. they taste nice!

1 kg crab (kam heong), 1 taufu dish, 2 vegetable dish and 1 Fat Phutt (yam basket) with kung pao diced chicken only cost RM63 including rice and tea. Cheap!

vkeong, actually ah, Shiang Hee I've gone there so many years and i found theirs not really nice la. their salted egg crab is nice la but i tell you, you were damn lucky do not have ordered BUTTER PRAWN, fuiyoh the worse already.

if you're in for late night meal, Shiang Hee opens till pretty late la. can order single dishes like wan tan hor and stuff like that.

that i got a few more to recommend. one is Kok Hing. another is call Lit Heong. both within 5 - 10 minutes distance from Shiang Hee.

I saw another blogger who went to Shiang Hee, she said the Butter Prawns is a must try.. maybe quality drop? That post was like a year ago

i donno him. my family being regular at Shiang Hee avoid that dish. normally people butter prawn fry nicely with those strands. theirs ah, aiyoh even the sugar cubes can see, and it also tasted very sweet.

but who knows la, these types of restaurants change cooks wan. some shops at Kepong also, not consistent. can go 3 times and their same dish can vary so greatly.

ah well, based on my dinner experience last night i can't wait to go back to try the other dishes esp the pork ribs in the pineapple thing and the steamed fishes. the only problem is the waiting time.

go early if you can. any time around 8pm is pretty much long queue already.

normally i go is around 6 something. i donno how's the traffic these days at 6 something but normally i didn't have to wait for table or anything. dishes served in 20 - 30 minutes.

Sri Sinar Old Town White Coffee lor............. actually la, that lot used to have a very nice Chinese restaurant!

after that they just close and donno where they went.

For those who fancy fishhead curry, there's one Jaln Kepong after Jusco in a place use to be old bus selangor station. It's name is A Go Go, just opposite those pawn shop. Quite nice but a bit exp to me.

Chili ban mee. Pasar pagi selayang jaya. Very nice!
