registration and inspection start on 8:30pm
race start at 9:00 pm
the format will be 1 on 1 battle
only parts which comes with a stock car are allowed to be used
only energizer batteries allowed
entry fee is rm5.00
top 3 winners will get a prize

Can we do some modify on stock parts ma? Example, modify the tyre become smaller or modify cover?
Pls state clearly abit so tat no one wil complaint tat day...
Besides, Thunder Shot pink special or other special edition car is usable?

Hello everyone, I am also a Tamiya siaow. Used to play at Rowell Home entertainment.

I won a Nitro force about 4 years ago, Thats my only MS PRO , however i dunno how to mod it.

I will be going to The land of smiles for Race next month. Its an open race.

Would like to seek advice from Experts specialising in MS pro.

Don't be too happy after looking at these pictures, I was so sad when my mother told me she gave away all the cars to my neighbour.

state the rules then maybe i can give u some pointers my first ms is also a nitro force and nitro thunder

Basically Rules are very simple.

I will just talk about the general ones, as for the detailed one i have to get my thai friend to translate it for me.


1. รุ่น Sanyo Power Standard (New)
2. รุ่น Sanyo Power Open (New)

There are two races, STANDARD AND OPEN.


Basically it says It cost 100 for registration of each car which will include battery and each racer is entitled to register up to 5 cars max.
Sanyo battery cost 35 baht each.

I will start with the Standard race 1st.

You can use ANY chassis to play. However, for the MS PRO, motor is limited to using REV tuned PRO , Torque tuned PRO and Atomic tuned PRO.

For other chassis, You are only allowed to use REV tuned , Torque tuned and Atomic tuned.

I had never been to a race something similar like this. So i hope someone can explain why only use limited motors.



And for the OPEN race, rules still apply, only difference is you can use a much powerful motor and that is HYPER DASH PRO for MS PRO and HYPER DASH 2!

Added on March 20, 2009, 1:10 amI managed to chat up with one of the Champion siam kia.
He is kind enough to show me his car when i told him i play all chassis except MS PRO.
So i am here to show you guy his settings.
He told me 99 out of 100 racers uses MS PRO to race as they are more to the settings.
Although i do have a Nitro force, but i think i will still bring my SFM to compete with them.
I had seen most of their tracks layout. Its more to SPEED. And alot of turnings. Even if there is a hump, they will give you alot of straights so your car can get back to the track.

Prizes quite ok since entrance only 100 baht ($4)
And ALL comes with Big trophies!

1st prize 1500 baht = $60
2nd Prize 1000 baht =$40
3rd Prize 500 Baht = $20

It may seems little to us but not to the siam kias!

Their motors are cheap. MS pro motors only 100 baht and Hyper dash 2 only 150 baht.

well u can mod your car to those similar setting.
u need a smooth drive train which reduses battery power loss
well seosoned motor
if can use all new bearings make sure u take out all the grease in it and put bearing oil
use a softshell cover it also help in the reducing weight category try not to put so many fancy stuff on the car

u can also check their previous race pics for refference
they do spray oil like wd4o to the motor to increase its performance

what is smooth drive train? is it the gold plate?

i found tutorial on how to clean ballbearings, but i'm not familar with their brand / language so it give me some headache figure out what is what. mind do a tutorial on how to clean the bearings?

btw, isn't spray oil into the motor is forbidden? i heard japan ban it due to it makes the track dirty or some other reason.

well different place different rules u can spray it in thailand .
the easiest way to clean bearing get a glass cointainer put the bearings inside
use zippo fluid pour inside the cointainer close it shake well then u will see the greese coming out
then clean the bearings
apply bearing oil then u are ready to go

The rules issit against the motor only.... how about modified on to chassis like etc: cutting chassis, applied glue onto chassis and limitation on roller can be used..

we use water to clean the bearing and wipe it with cloths right? i'm thinking will the bearing rust if i clean it with water since they is going to be small water particle trap inside the bearing.

Any tips on seasoning motor? Eg the oil used to remove the carbon inside the motor, voltage used to break in the motor etc etc. Thx
